    We have already mailed in our Trump votes, made copies of it for our grandkids- and it felt good…
    Neither of them will break 50 percent of the vote.

    Trump 47 percent.

  4. I believe Cruz is doing this for his own political fortunes, not those of Republicans.
    Also, I would have to question the intelligence of anyone who would do a 180 from a Trump hater to a Trump supporter, just because the self-righteous Cruz claims to have. Don’t these people have the capacity to think for themselves or are they simply brainwashed sheep?
    Can you imagine witnessing a Clinton vs Cruz race right now? It would pale in comparison to what we have, probably be more like watching the “elite establishment” playing pocket pool. No serious talk of walls, mass deportations of illegals, killing/redoing trade deals or banning more Islamic immigration. ALL vital to the US’s survival as a free, fair and lawful society.
    One thing would remain unchanged though, Cruz would still be smeared as a deplorable racist.

  5. Cruz is a helleva litigator. I’d like to see him gowdy and chavetz working together to jail corrupt Dems and clean up the cesspool that is inside the beltway. Clintons first.

  6. Well I won’t bash Cruz as I would have been happy with him as Optus as well.
    I admire his humility, I think it’s a strength what ever nefarious assumptions/motivations he is doing it for (I beleive he is being genuine) he did it . How many of you after being trashed and totally disrespected and then beaten badly would have a throat big enough to swallow your pride and support the man who just whooped ya? Politically Ted Cruz has a very good track record.
    He is not perfect but he does have a spine and I admire that. He was and is the second most hated in Washington next to trump , he despises the epa, the nsa, the whole cabal so good on ya lyin ted!! Lol
    Hillary will be the next president I hope I have to come on here and eat some crow because I just don’t see trump getting the electoral college numbers….I wish he would win but I can say it is a landslide victory for Hillary Clinton . I hate sayin that but it’s true.

  10. Cruz hasn’t done an about-face. He advised his followers to vote according to their conscience. I predicted then that he would likely hold his nose and vote for Trump. Anyone who needs an endorsement to vote for a candidate is too stupid to vote.

  13. The Ted Cruz team did its share of dirty tricks and insulting of their opponents. Ted Cruz hired a hard-nosed campaign manager *for that purpose.* Only a blind person would say that Trump’s family hasn’t been dragged through the mud, including his kids, but especially Melania, who is his best asset. I’m encouraged by Ted Cruz’s practicality…finally. He would have been tied up in knots trying to explain his father’s religion and past. People today seem to worship nature and the universe, while denying the God who created them.

    Not sure why his fathers past would be a problem. It was Eisenhower who authorized the CIA to form the Cuban Freedom fighters… It was JFK who betrayed them….Truth can be both harmful & helpful…
    I think Cruz hurt himself In Indiana.. When he called Basket ball (Hoops) Rings.. His Canadian birthright became a problem…
    It was like in 1992 George H in the supermarket checkout and not knowing the bar-code scanner. How can anyone so far removed from the lives of normal Americans know/solve their problems.
    I don’t support Cruz because he made it ALL personal… That is a last resort of a loser..Never! Ever! allow personal grievances to be the driving force, or they will fall on deaf ears….Short term gain for long term loss

  18. I see your point about Cruz’s father, although his past was obviously contentious to Ted. I don’t think Glenn Beck’s religious theatrics helped, either.
    The only one who really slammed Heidi Cruz was Ted, who elbowed her in the head at least twice.
