Merkel was a tremendous leader who helped fix Germany as Europe’s economic powerhouse while maintaining a sustainable financial policy. In meeting with other leaders she often seemed to be the smartest one in the room. Boy, did she blow it on immigration or whatever the current mess is called.
The real problem with be trying to fix it when she’s gone. I wonder if we’ll have the same problem here when we’re done with Trudeau.
Now that she and Obama have destroyed europe I am sure she can get a job with the united nations human rights commission.

I don’t know which episodes of the show you saw but I remember Amanda Lang as being a pro socialist Government, anti Capitalist numbskull. O’Leary was the one that kept bringing her back to Earth. Where is Amanda BTW? I know where O’Leary is; making money.
Of all the “potentials” out there, O’Leary is the best choice so far. He might be a Globalist/free trade kind of guy right now but he is a wise businessman that already has complained that there is no leadership in this country at all levels (Brad Wall an exception IMO) as far as creating work in this country.

Merkel has zero plans to expel the migrants who came to Germany under the auspices of being Syrian War refugees.
I’ve seen plenty of pictures of these migrants, they are not Syrians.
The party that beat her candidates, the Alternative for Germany (AfD), are promising to expel these migrants.
Accepting a share of the responsibility isn’t going to cut it. Everyone knows Merkel is responsible.
If she wants to get out of future consequences she’ll have to give the German people what they voted for with the Alternative for Germany (AfD), expulsion of the migrants.
