Live by the sword, die by the sword. The US has gotten involved in “elections” globally for decades and now we’re supposed to be offended and upset that someone else decides to interfere with theirs? Nope. Go Trump.
Demonizing the Russians, “the evil Cold War Soviet adversary”, and tying the leaks to Donald Trump is pure misinformation for the benefit of the Clinton campaign. The “Oh woe is me” approach, “look at the nasties who want Trump to win”. The press are lapping it up which is enough on its own to convince me it isn’t the Ruskies.
I should add, why would the Russians want Trump to win? They likely have enough blackmail material against Hillary to keep the U.S. tied up for decades.

It always amuses me that the press never questioned the source of the leaked Petreus love notes, which were used to persecute him. I reckon it’s the same source – the NSA.

Who ever leaked the docs is not trying to influence the election so much as trying to bring some balance back to it by doing the job the msm is refusing to do. I th mm them for that.
