In Ont this morning nuclear and hydro supply 77% of generated electricity, this despite been hobbled to some degree for favoured Wind power. Over 3/4 of Supply comes from clean, green, efficient sources. Add in gas fired generation and 96% of Supply is covered by these 3 modes. Despite all the investment, in operating turbines Wind’s share is only 4%.
Ont could have saved double digit Billions by concentrating on those modes, and emphasizing the advantages, this while having the same air quality and need it be said. the same weather. The side track down the green wind and solar road was unnecessary, ineffective and totally unwarranted.But it plays well to urban voters who care nothing for energy analysis and who never have to look at monstrous wind plants in their back yard.
That’s it in a nutshell, that’s the insanity we have chosen to take over Ontario. It can only get worse.

My PG&E bill just jumped by $ 100.00 during my LOWEST cost time of year … and no, nothing changed in my household. It is due to rate manipulation by PG&E to PAY for all the “green” garbage that they foist on us ratepayers. Meanwhile, the lapdog “green” PUC sits by and does nothing.
This all makes sense when one considers the big brains at government are currently issuing negative yield bonds, as we all march in lock step to decline.
