  2. Intent is not required – that is not ‘for the lawyers’, it is in NO WAY up for debate.
    If you mishandle classified material it is a violation of the espionage act – even if it is by mistake. Again, intent is not required.
    If someone else mishandles classified material, (i.e., sending it to you via unsecured email), and you do not report it, that is a violation of the espionage act.
    Hillary committed both. There is no grey area here, she broke the law. No debate. If she was anyone else, she would never see daylight again.

    How can ANYONE trust a very lengthy and supposedly extensive investigation to be legitimate when it’s very first interview with the KEY WITNESS is given only 3 DAYS before their findings. 3 1/2 hrs of questioning and NOTHING of what came out of her mouth needed verifying or checking? That seems simply impossible to me.
    This stinks to high heaven and I hope all our serf friends in America get mad as hell and rise up against this disgraceful political abuse.

    Schlichter also talks about what many of us here have maintained and nails it with the following, “The Romans had principles for a while.     Intent is the whole reason the FBI is allowing her to skate on this, intent has been the fig leaf that Clinton has hidden behind from the start, and the statutes themselves which Clinton violated say intent isn’t necessary.
    You, Shamrock, are arguing from Hillary’s position on this.

    No it was not a hurdle at all, high or otherwise. The statute specifically strikes down any consideration of intent.

  32. Uh, no, I don’t agree with Comey, at all, and agree he was not precluded by lack of intent, I just see where he’s coming from, so believe it’s foolhardy to go after him with rich prey like Bubba, Obama, and Hillary showing their establishment side.
    Don’t shoot the messenger. Watch Bill O’Reilly’s just completed interview with a former FBI director. He agreed with my position that while probably cause of a crime no doubt existed, but the beyond a reasonable doubt standard of criminal conviction did not exist. Yes, they could have gone ahead with indictments on the hope they did find necessary evidence.
    Consequence: Hillary has been caught in a web of lies, fully documented, if you’re on Fox News, they’re describing it as we speak. The former director said Comey lit Hillary on fire before he left. He also acknowledged political considerations were on Comey’s mind.
    Hillary got pilloried by Comey. Get over it. If new evidence were to emerge, indictments could still proceed. The bottom line is, besides her malevolent nature, this woman is dumb as a post on emails and security. Does she actually think someone has to break into her home to get her emails?
    Scorch, scorch, scorch. So everybody’s right and everybody’s wrong.
    So yes I think Comey should have indicted Hillary, as does O’Reilly because the issue of her gross negligence (mental defect?) was not properly investigated by the FBI. I also agree with that assessment. Britt Hume is right (“tissue of lies” – good one); Comey calculated how the Obama Justice Dept would handle the file if he simply turned it over or made a criminal referral, it would die on the administrative vine.
    Imho, he fell on his sword today with a scorched earth expose of Hillary’s email conduct, “extreme carelessness” with sensitive secrets, and spilled it all over the airwaves, so the Dems can’t bury it. He said before he began he had not spoken to nor consulted anyone prior to his announcement. I happen to believe him. I could be wrong; does that make me a Hillary agent?
    To argue this is an unpopular decision is an understatement, especially the FBI. Hillary was hoping for a bump, now she has to sit tight. Comey outed her; leave him alone, go for the fresh kill. It’s go time for the GOP.
    Think about it, a referral from the FBI could have been buried for months or even years; if Hillary had won it would have gone away. She still needs to win to avoid imprisonment, imho. Do I think Clinton and her ilk don’t care for and think they’re above the law? They sure do. Her day of mortal reckoning is coming. Given her recklessness, her security clearance should be revoked, Paul Ryan is right.
    Anyway, Comey still has the Clinton “Foundation” under investigation. Who knows maybe we’ll see a husband and wife indictment this summer.
    Since Hillary’s talk, the Clintons will know too. Make her life a living hell with Congress investigating all summer, demanding full disclosure from the FBI.
    Keep your powder dry my friends. Like I’ve said this Dem bunch lies routinely to support their false narratives. Does anybody believe the Dems would have chose to indict Hillary and wouldn’t have buried the case in the basement? Now they have Comey’s words. It’s a good day with more coming.

From a president born in another Country who arms ISIS while trying to disarm Americans.Makes no bones he’s a Muslim who hates Christianity by banning Abused Christians from immigration, while allowing 100,000’s of Muslim immigrants, their very persecutors in. The FBI like the EPA, ICE, Homeland security, DOJ IRS & so many other cannot or will not be trusted again. The corruption of America is now so blatant ,its not even a subject anymore its just a fact.Why hide when your just an oligarchy anymore & there is no law except for Citizens, Illegals & special minorities along with politicians & government workers are above any law.
