  1. ((((The former Belgian prime minister Guy Verhofstadt said: “I am shocked, Mr Farage. You are presenting yourself as the defender of the little man, while you have an offshore financial construction.” ))))

And, there it is in a nutshell. These bureaucrats can’t wrap their self-absorbed heads around the concept of freedom and rights. It’s about money and power to them (at the expense of anyone who gets in their way). Offshore financial accounts have nothing to do with some jackass power monger in Brussels legislating away the use of electric toasters in the UK….which by the way was a shelved fiat by the EU parliament until after they secured their victory in the UK…which, of course, didn’t come about. They shelved it because virtually all Brits have such a toaster, and it would have been a catalyst to an even larger group voting to leave the EU.

  2. A wee bit longer version with nice smile from Nigel after the speech: https://youtu.be/T4ZTuh52wXE
He’s giving to them both barrels in full force. Oh he promised 4 years ago in his first speech in that chamber that he won’t be back in 5 years. Promise kept.

  3. Why not be grown-up, pragmatic, and sensible abou the Brexit?
Duh, you are addressing career pollies who never have worked a real job (or created one). Might as well have asked a couple of 14 year olds to be grown up in the wake of the termination of a romantic relationship.

  4. I think a shooting war is needed to wake these “welfare a$$holes” up. Yes Frank, you are right about them never having worked, and never will if they have their way.

  5. The satisfaction Farage feels right now must be absolute. He will never be Prime Minister but he has just liberated a country. How about Nigel Farage day. If not for the sudden rise in popularity of UKIP, David Cameron would have never promised a vote on the EU. Despite the fact that UKIP is often written off as right wing lunatics, they seem to get much (most)of their support from people that usually vote further to the left and they spend much of their time attacking big business.

  6. The EU laws governing the curvature (drooping) of Bananas & Cucumbers would be better served if it was applied to Male erections in Brussels…They would have to shelve themselves…

  7. Today,I saw a televised statement by Nigel Farage addressing a large audience. I just got the gist of it, because T/V is not my priority.
“None of you has ever had a proper job in your life”
As close as I can get it. Yes, our respective societies seem to breed all sorts of bureaucratic bodies.
    Not good economics.

  8. Should be:
“None of you have ever done a proper job in your lives”
    Nigel Farage.

  9. Well, plans have been in the offing to create an EU super state which essentially takes over member nation states in the areas of economics, security and politics. Boris Johnson warned of this. This was being given a bit of profile yesterday. I find it curious that the Canadian news media seems quite oblivious. Maybe they don`t want to scare anyone pre-Amigos. The UK has just dodged a bullet. Will the poltically correct media take noticeÉ

  10. The reaction to Britain leaving the EU speaks volumes…..It means they did the right thing for Britain, the rest of EU will be weakened. Watch for the Aussies, they may be next.

  11. First thing I watched this morning…Nigel Farage hands out a masterful counterstroke to the bureaucrats; who need 50 EU regulations to build a paperclip!
Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch…and thankfully I got my UK car parts in an orderly fashion.

  12. That man is a hero for the working class he needs to write a book on the struggle as I for one would by it…

  13. Morning broadcaster on CKNW, Jon Macomb(Sp?).. Said this morning, that his listeners may not have heard of Farage..lol.. Well this is a radio station that will shortly be broadcasting neighbourhood auctions/garage sales.. All NDP all the time. What a horrifying fall from their early days..They(staff) interview each other, and then repeat it on later programmes.CKNW.. aweful.

  14. No
but our enlightened politicians are trying to sign us up to the EU carbon scam
Which could produce some interesting results in the election this weekend

  15. As an outer I still cannot stop laughing. All those spoilt young brats sobbing because their lives have been ruined.Perhaps a dose of the Somme might make them appreciate what it is to have a life ruined, by death.
