Once again black radicals hijack an issue from the gay community, instead of respecting the fallen they make the issue about the radical black movement.
Race trumps everything. In the U.S.A., black people are the most aggrieved race, and they don’t want any other group passing them in the hierarchy of oppressed people, so everybody else is supposed to step aside and shut up when blacks complain about something. If you don’t, you’re a despicable racist. For some reason, seeing them together on stage made me think of Hellfire missiles.

Exactly, the only question is “the victims of whom? Both aggrieved groups see White mainly Middleclass Christian Conservative males as the root of ALL their problems, regardless of who their actual “oppressors” really are if any.

And why are these people so pathetically inarticulate? Likely because they really have nothing coherent to say. Gawd, they really are beyond vacuous.
My sincere condolences to the families of all the victims and to the wounded. There are many things about which we may disagree but no one deserves to be killed for being gay and I pray I would have the courage to fight to the death to defend you should such a need arise.

When you give special consideration to various special groups the outcome is inevitable. You will have each of the groups vying to be the Special special group.
Lots of support from the right for the LGBT community since Sunday. From Chic-fil-A employees handing out free meals to those waiting for hours in line to donate blood in Orlando on Sunday morning (and then lowering their store’s flags across America to half-mast in remembrance and respect for the victims) to a growing wave of gun owners rallying and offering free gun lessons to members of LGBT community.
It is all very heart felt and genuine and it goes a long way in exposes the great lie of the left’s characterization of conservatives. But, I warn you now, do not turn your back on the democrats and progressives. They will destroy you. They will turn into every straw man that they ever accused conservatives of being – except they will be the real deal.
Within months, you be out of favour. You’ll be out of Hollywood, popular culture, hotels, schools, PBS and you will be classified, persecuted and vilified by the “new” popular culture as degenerates. All that within a summer’s TV hiatus.
That’s how the psychopathic left operates. They ain’t you friends but you’re too embedded in the “family” now to be able to leave. Unless you want to sleep with the fishes.
Worth remembering: the Westboro “Baptist Church” is a subset of the Democrat party. The founder of the cult, the late and unlamented Fred Phelps, was a regional campaign manage for Al Gore in the 2000 Presidential election. The cult it really just an extended family, and nearly all the cult members are lawyers, who make a living out of lawfare. Trolls, in other words.
I listened to a couple of former WBC, I believe they were the daughters of Fred Phelps, who dropped out of that church and became Christians. As they described it WBC was a cult of hate and had nothing to do with Christianity.

I wish —- that people felt all this sorrow for the death of 76 persons (29 of them children) in Lahore last Easter while celebrating the holiday! Of course these weren’t there for sexual purposes, merely to celebrate the Resurrection of their saviour! I don’t recall all the coverage on news and in papers, of the weeping and gnashing of teeth, and wringing of hands, for this great loss.
Charles Moore, in the Speccie, also notes that about the same time, a group of nuns in Yemen were murdered and their priest kidnapped and then crucified on the Good Friday following. A quick mention on the radio and then … silence!
