Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Sunni ways!
JT must have mistaken the HOC Floor for a boxing ring. Was that maybe a flashback for him??
He seems to have quite a temper which is something that needs to be remembered for the right time. I’m sure if someone says just the right thing at the right time he’ll melt down and his political career will be over in a big poof.
First of all, adults should act like adults, especially when there are people paying these people to do so.
Secondly, if these people insist on such behaviour, they can take it outside.
Finally, if that pansy-boy really thinks that he is so tough, why doesn’t he prove it when there are no cameras watching and some MP is waiting to beat his @$$?
I don’t expect PM Trulander to behave like a gentleman. He learned how to treat women from his disgusting father.
Not a fan of JT but it looks like he backed into her with his elbow extended because he was pulling another guy away.
The incident with Mulcair is actually weirder and more supportive of the theory that JT has a bit of short fuse that could go physical.
“Not a fan of JT but it looks like he backed into her with his elbow extended because he was pulling another guy away.”
This is what is so funny about this. The Party of Pander and faux outrage is getting a sublime taste of it themselves.
I’ve been laughing for 45 minutes now.
James,
He does. He is not the affable person you see at public events.
First time the mask has slipped on camera. Numerous times in the Commons he has done things but always when he knows camera isn’t on him. Oppo would be smart (breaking HoC decorum) to video him throughout QP.
Anyone have a link, because it is not working for me.
Also funny is the wording being used to describe the event as it unfolds by Rosie Barton. “It’s certainly strange and unusual.”
What kind of verbiage would be in use if we substituted Harper for Trudeau?
To be fair, they’re not shying away from covering this; in fact they’re extending Power & Politics today.
More laughter.
At some point, they’re going to spin this as Justin “taking charge” of the situation.
He’s pretty close to losing it here. Rona must have got under his skin.
Liberals threaten to take full control of the House as deadline looms
LeBlanc has given notice of a motion that would let the Liberals force overnight debates and adjourn the House for the summer without any notice and with no debate. The motion would also restrict the opposition parties’ ability to slow down proceedings.
http://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/pm-trudeau-accused-of-pushing-mps-in-house-of-commons-1.2908055
Try this….I couldn’t get it as well but now this works.
Near the start.
What a hoot. Justin doing his bouncer act. God help anyone in the House who riles him, he may do his boxer routine.
We need a descriptor of who is who. The little guy I assume is a Liberal who likes like he is saying excuse me while three other MP’s are having a conversation and he can’t get by.
Of course the little guy could have just stepped back and gone to the left of the desk in the middle. Why Superboy felt he had to fly in and rescue him is beyond me. Superboy looks like he had words with the larger gentleman on the left who had been talking to I assume the the NDP lady….did she get pushed into the desk or did he step on her toe.
It was a bad day for the government so I suspect Superboy was having a tantrum.
He’s still upset from finding most of Fort Mac still there.
I remember seeing a video of JT and his wife at a liberal event. He was heard to say, “I was born to this”.. Sophie said “you must be hunble”
Trudeau’s ego was enormous to begin with and the fawning by the media and the thousands of selfies he has taken of himself has deluded him to think he is something special. He is a spoiled little rich kid who thinks he’s king. He has acted badly before but hasn’t been filmed. What a disgrace to have this guy as PM.
What was the issue that precipitated this response?
Did you see the prancing little tit? Christ, I’m still laughing.
He walks exactly like that BBC tit who did the travel shows – Michael Portillo – the guy who was always wearing a pink sports coat and carrying a book. Like he’s got a pickle up his arse.
It seems like a perfect storm of Liberal entitlement meeting socialist faux-outrage. Conservatives would be smart to step to one side and let the raptors establish their territory.
I was thinking more along the lines of a planted question or shout out to him at some event designed to enrage him. Preferably at a photo op, maybe even while shaking his hand. Any luck and he’d punch the plant in the face.
Praise the Lord and pass the chainsaws. A pox on both their houses.
So the “little guy” is actually the Con Party Whip Gord Brown. Superboy says he thought he was taking too long to get to his seat, he is clearly caught up in a jam up of people in front of the NDP benches.
So why the ham sandwich is JT pulling a Con MP through? He shouldn’t be grabbing him anyway. And then apparently he elbows Brosseau in the chest, and has some choice words for the taller guy.
Totally inappropriate.
And in the back corner by the speaker XPMSH is laughing his butt off I am sure.
Much to do about nothing. Of all the things wrong in this country that could get press coverage it shows a angry Turdeau getting his man. The fact that some Dipper gets in the way should surprise no one. Whining Dippers, petulant Liebels and who knows what Conservatives. Canada is as ripe for a Trump as the USA is.
Grabbing the con whip without his consent and dragging him off is an assault under the CCC. The conservatives should swear an information to the RCMP, alleging assault by the PM.
This is the kind of thing that goes on in the Russian Parliament I believe — sometimes exchanges coming to blows. Perhaps Trudeau is rehearsing for some future encounter with Putin (“telling him to his face!”) He will need some practice for that for sure.
Man, what a daycare that place is. Well it is full of politicians after all. The little boy wonder (someone said above that he is a conservative) is trying to get through a scrum of people who are purposely blocking him. You can see they move over when he tries to go left and the far left guy has a smirk on is face.So instead of backing up and going left around the scrum of people he raises his hand like he’s crying daddy! their being mean!. So Trudeau think “for crying out loud” gets up in a huff and marches over with a ffs swagger and rescues the little boy and most likely tells the main guy blocking to grow up (maybe not in those nice of words) but in the process accidentally hits the lady in the breast with his elbow. Her reaction and where she is holding herself lead me to believe that. It was an accident brought on by some politicians being dicks, one politician being a little puss, and one politician throwing a tantrum. Typical politician behavior from all three major parties.
Canada is as ripe for a Trump as the USA is.
True, but how is that even possible in our British Parliamentary System wherein the supreme leader is not elected at large?
Well that’s probably how they get things done in China!!!! if anyone can remember his quote
When half the country tells you how special you are … it is upsetting when the other half calls you out for what you really are … an unremarkable child with a famous last name. It can be quite shocking to the system to meet those who see right thru your empty head. The little boy needs to grow up …
“Canada is as ripe for a Trump as the USA is…”
So, you mean a celebrity WITH accomplishments…as opposed to what we have now…right?
Here’s a more complete video, complete with annoying ad. NDP lady didn’t seem too hurt immediately afterwards and Mulcair seems to be laughing right after. Rare shots of Harper too.

Typical Liberal BSer and bully. The more things change, the more they stay the same. We all remember Chretien trying to choke a poor kid. And notice that the CBC is not allowing comments on their story.
CBC story about Trudeau does not allow commnets.
I mean anything that shows potential to weaken the chains of political correctness that shackle western culture. Trump for the USA is the only hope. In Canada, we have little hope. I’ve given up looking for candidates or parties that completely reflect my ideology; now I care about the three things we’re desperately fighting for, our culture, our safety and our prosperity. We can win these wars only by breaking the back of political correctness and allowing free speech. So far the only politician who I’ve heard even mention the term “political correctness” is Donald.
Sorry–pushed the button too fast.

excerpt from the Criminal Code of Canada:
Assault
265 (1) A person commits an assault when
(a) without the consent of another person, he applies force intentionally to that other person, directly or indirectly;
—————————————————————————-
The mens rea or guilty intent component of the offence (from memory) a quote from a lecturer in law, is “the least touching in anger”.
An information should be sworn out. It’s a Prima Facie case for a conviction.
The Member of Parliament assaulted would have been justi-fied in defending himself with sufficient force to stop the assault.
If Stephen Harper had done this, the MSM would be howling day and night forever.
Rona Ambrose should invite Rhonda Rousey and Gina Carano give self-defence lessons to the Opposition caucus.
The NDP M.P. who was elbowed in the chest should take to wearing a level III ballistic vest as outer wear in Parliament.
Justin Trudeau may wear a suit but that evidently doesn’t make him a gentleman.
looks like a hockey bench clearing brawl was about to bust out..too bad cooler heads prevailed.Mulcair the Bear wrestling with Tinkerbell Turdhole.
Media whores jumping to defend the lisping idiot as we speak, I guess the Media think that NDP chick had it coming eh. Trudumbs handlers got him out of the House as fast as they could, gotta rehearse the idiot quickly, give the retard his script and wait for the Media to deflect and defend the prancing fool. Its gonna be fun watching the Media defend their leader’s thuggish immature petulant behavior, just like the Media would do if PM Harper had elbowed and pushed a female NDPer and manhandled other members. Go Media Go! Spin baby spin!
This all doesn’t say much about JT.
But it does say a lot about Canadians who voted for him.
Better video here: http://www.cpac.ca/en/programs/house-of-commons/episodes/47658712/
Not that I want to justify Trudeau’s little temper tantrum … but three NDP MPs, including Ellen Brosseau, the one who got elbowed, were playing a little game of block the opposition whip’s (Conservative Gordon Brown) passage in order to delay the vote. The three NDPers were the aforementioned Brosseau, David Christopherson, and Tom Mulcair himself.
As another commenter described it, Trudeau’s swagger to pull the opposition whip through the trio was uncalled for, but I’m sure the elbowing was accidental. Brosseau’s being overwhelmed is more theatrics, IMO. A sorry lot, the whole gang. The Conservatives, as far as I can remember, never acted that boorishly.
The man child is losing his cool… and reverting back to his former job as a bouncer. We have three and half years left…can he hack it without getting really angry? I can hardly wait to see the next episode of Turdeau at work. Harper must be loving this.
Can’t wait for the Taiwan tv toon version of incident…!
Fathers name, mothers brain…
Ahhh give justy a break. He was watching replay of Texas vs Toronto game on Sunday and he was just trying to show is immitation of the fight. This is what happens when you put a child in th role as pm.
Media quickly defend the lisping idiot, it was “an accident” says the Media… LOL… Great that the Liberals don’t even have to defend their leaders thuggish behavior, they have the Media to do it for them, “it was an accident”… ha, ha, yeah, it was an “accident” that the lispy retard charged across the floor grabbing people, bullying, pushing people, elbowing woman and men… “accidentally”… LOL! Go Media Go! Spin you corrupt pieces of sh!t spin. The Media will make sure that the lispy prancing jackass will come out of this as a hero… that NDP chick had it coming! Go Media Go.
It was an unfortunate incident. Trudeau has apparently apologized for what seemed an accidental jab.
We should leave it at rather than acting like the Opposition banshees of the Harper era. The NDP seems to be a constant in this.
It does send a message, IMHO, that the Grits don’t wish to debate, even though they get to dominate it, decide its course, invoke closure and now impose new rules that reduce further debate. All of this despite having a majority. Remember when Harper was such a bully with a minority?
This behaviour is more evidence they aren’t interested in anyone’s opinion on anything; in fact they are quite irritated when anyone tries.
Miss Harper yet?
Nice one.
We should leave it at rather than acting like the Opposition
Acting this way didn’t seem to hurt the “Opposition”
“Canada is as ripe for a Trump as the USA is.” Unfortunately, I don’t think so. Trump is about facing issues head on and not being afraid to speak the truth without having to worry about political correctness. Canadians had an opportunity to do this in the last election, but they chose instead to construct a fantasy world, ignoring the economy, the real threat of terrorism, buying into the follow of carbon taxes . . . and they chose to go in the wrong direction. It will be some time before Canada recovers enough to grasp the significance and importance of a Trump for facing reality and getting things done.
Criticism in this instance is well deserved — not just the elbowing of the NDP woman, but in a patronizing way deciding to escort the Conservative to his seat. That was extremely officious. Trudeau is also prone to sticking out his tongue when things are not going great for him. Quite frankly, I do not think he is totally stable and it is beginning to show.
