They’re going to put a lot of zoos and ranchers out of business: Throughout the course of her campaign, Clinton and her team have spoken with animal rights advocates such as Russell Simmons, entertainment mogul/philanthropist; Congressman Earl Blumenauer; Simone Reyes, Director of Television Development at Def Pictures; Judie Mancuso, president of animal welfare organization Social Compassion in Legislation; and experts from the Humane Society and other animal welfare groups.
The idiocy of these people was made apparent to me here in Edmonton.
City bylaws have mandated that all dogs must be on a leash unless they’re on one’s own property or in a leash-free area. The trouble is that those leash-free areas aren’t always prime real estate, such as near high-voltage power lines.
I asked city hall about it and one reason I was given was that certain people are “offended” or “uncomfortable” around dogs.
Recently, a city by-law was passed which bans dogs being left unattended in vehicles. Apparently one owner didn’t make sure that the animal in question was either cool or had fresh air and it died. As a result, all dog owners caught leaving their dogs alone inside their car or truck will be subject to criminal charges, even if one is from outside the province.
Cats, on the other hand, can roam free and do their business anywhere they please. Go figure.
Animals are private property. In obamatopia, there will be no private property rights. Unless you are a homosexual or feminist or beta male member of the elite class.

These dog owners who allow their animals to roam unchecked need to be held liable and subject to lawsuits if their animals are responsible for attacking and harming a person or pet and the animal euthinised
Cats cannot roam free in Edmonton. There has been license requirements for indoor and outdoor cats since the 1990’s.
