  1. These pipeline project approvals are no mean logistical feat. It takes time for the Liberals to ensure the brown paper bags of cash are fairly and equitably distributed.

  2. When you’re campaigning, you can shout all sorts of high-sounding blather designed to endear yourself to special-interest groups. When you’re governing, you realize that your policies had better serve the interests of typical Canadians or you might well be a one-term Prime Minister.

  3. Once the Tides Foundation reminds Trudeau of how much they spent to get him elected this will blow over.

  4. Canada is getting ahead of the Trend…Trump will be the next President & with that “Options” will exist for Western Canada
Best Political prediction: A rabid dog could beat Hillary

  5. That’s some unbelievably beautiful coastline and wildlife. Someday, ALL the eco-dolts (Obama included) will realize how IDIOTIC it was to shut-down the Keystone Pipeline. IDIOTIC. Oh well, just another unintended consequence of the moronic eco-zealots

  6. “A rabid dog could beat Hillary”
That may be wishful thinking. I’ve heard corespondents on John Batchelor’s show state that pollsters predict that she could beat Trump.
While many of us now that Trump would be the better choice, voters seldom cast their ballots based on logic and analysis. How else did we end up with the Clown Prince as PM?

  7. I smell panic.
The Libtards and NPD have such big plans for spending other peoples money, it must have come as a terrible shock to realize there is very little left to steal, at this time.
Notley has that deer in the headlights look and Just-In, well whatever he promises is only true for the duration of the sound bite.
So a moratorium is not a moratorium?
Certain products are A OK, pixie dust, unicorn farts and natural gas are blessed?
    Saudi Oil is fine?
But Alberta evil TAR, is not?
Strikes me bitumen is probably easier to clean up,in a salt water situation, that light crude.
I wonder how long our Media Guild can pretend their product is still working?
Turdeau Two,manufactured and sold by the Media Guild of Canada.
Beautifully polished.. but does not function…or is this “Good enough for government” for our Kleptocracy?

  8. Depends who the loudest latest voice is that has surrounded TURDOPEY.
The next one could be Shakey Neil. Or, it could be the Fruit Fly too.
Remember, LIEberal policy blows in the wind,a dn is always shifting in the direction of the biggest personal payoff to their friends, and/or themselves.
TURDOPEY’s supporters against pipelines should be frothing at the mouth over his flipflop lies, but a selfie his Twitness solves everything

  9. Well, I think every body above covered all the points.
John Robertson, if I may, you forgot George Soros funding of Trudeau’s campaign through Tides, although TimR got it in.
What a farce this government aided and abetted by the media is. Can you imagine the uproar if Harper would have done this.

  10. I wonder how much spendable tax dollars are lost if they kill the oil industry? In total the socialist hogs are probably losing 40 or 50 billion dollars annually. Albertans made close to double the average wage of Canadians. Not any more. Companies with losses get refunds instead of paying. The Bolsheviks have quickly gained a fine appreciation of capitalism.
What did I read – something like the US has approved 12,000 miles of pipeline while turning down Keystone. Apparently Canadian Heavy oil is way more dangerous that that in California, Venezuela, and Nigeria.

  11. Northern Gateway is dead!
It makes no difference if Notley and Trudeau change their minds, it’s still not going to get built. The multiple lawsuits from first nations and eco-nuts (local, regional, national and international) coupled with all the roadblocks that the various governments have put in place means that Trudeau’s children will die of old age before it gets built, even if he wants it to go ahead.

  12. I agree about the beauty of that coastline. It is my favorite place to go coastal fishing. Regardless of the safeguards, the locals there are going to feel very betrayed by PMJT. I am learning to enjoy the entertainment value of the politics. A small silver lining in the dark socialist cloud that has descended over Alberta and Canada.

  13. Northern Gateway should be built, and the federal government has the power to make that happen. Simple legislation in Parliament to prevent legal challenges from natives (who are under the protection of the federal government, as per the Indian Act) or eco-nuts. Again, simple legislation to prevent BC from stopping a project that is in the “national interest”. Remember BC wants to build power lines to get Site C power to Alberta…
The project could get built before the Supreme Court ever hears appeals. And it should. If the modern “social license” movement existed in the 19th century, Canada wouldn’t exist because the CPR would never have been built.
The more I watch progressives and government try to stifle economic growth through legal manoeuvres, the more it reminds me of Atlas Shrugged. Eventually the system will fall apart.

  14. Well said, and one can only wish this would come to pass. But, a big but, it is almost inconceivable to think that the empty suit would have the brass ones to make this come to pass.

  15. If it were up to Canadians (including First Nations), I believe the pipeline could and would be built quickly. The globalists oppose this, however . . .and they are instrumental in buying Native protestors and environmental activists. I do not believe the pipeline will be built — regardless of Notley’s sudden interst. The globalists are calling the shots and they do not want it built. There plan is to reduce prosperity and have people more dependent on government.
