The NDP tossed Tom Mulcair because they “lost” the last elections? Really? He is one of the only reasons they came close to winning. Brian explains why Mulcair is getting a raw deal. Darrell Bricker from Ipsos Public Affairs join Brian to explain the reality of the NDP based on polling. David Akin joins the show to explain why Bill Morneau’s numbers don’t add up. Ezra Levant on the Halifax school story and the media freak-out. Plus Brian on Liberal shenanigans with fundraising, tax shelters and why Avi Lewis is wrong on socialism.

Thanks Brian.
You really need to post more of your shows. They’re great.
Podcast good? They’re Grrreeeaattt!
The Ryerson comments appeared late on Monday, for those who posted there. Is it surprising that “nyah nyah nyah” is theme that more than one mentioned?
The only thing I can think of to say at this exact moment is – These people are certifiably insane. I’ve heard bits and pieces of this manifesto. I can’t bring myself to commit to getting fully immersed in following the ‘nuts’ and bolts of the Canadian political scene because I want to have some hope for the future of my country. That hope is fading fast, however.
The ndp is irrelevant.
What issues do they represent? So out of touch with reality that they now are contemplating adoption of the LEAP MANIFESTO? This should finish them off.
If Lizzie wasn’t so crazed herself the greens would be the natural choice of the leftards.
Inexplicable as this latest NDP move is, it demonstrates clearly they would rather align with perennial losers like the Lewis family, then try to attain power at the federal level. In the past 50 years none of this family has been elected to a majority government. The second generation Stephen lead the Ont NDP for a while, but managed to miss the one chance they ever got at power in Ont. Instead Bob Rae became Premier; Stephen became a broadcaster while waiting for a UN gig to come along.
Little surprise that Stephen fully supports the lunatic Leap program of son and daughter-in-law, and was instrumental in its adoption for discussion by the party.
Churchill’s comment on Austin Chamberlain is worth applying to the Lewises.
“He always played the game, and he always lost it”
Hard for the NDP or any of the socialist hordes to “leap off reality” they don’t dwell in the realm of reality in the first place. They are devoid of the ability to reason.
As for the likes of the climate change manifesto stars Klein and Lewis, the latest media darlings, they would make anyone with a thought process cringe in disbelief. According to the crap we get tossed at us it appears they think we all fell off a turnip cart, too many have, that includes many politicians who will sell their credibility for votes over common sense. We need go no further than our local neighbouhood schools and halls of higher learning to know we are in deep trouble. If they have their way we will be back to the little houses out back with the half moon hole for ventilation before we know what hit us.
