In The Mail

Afghanistan — A novel by Bill Greenwood (Kindle Edition)

A new Cold War has dawned. In London, a government bureaucrat has discovered what might be a Russian plot to destroy the West with a diabolical surprise attack that no one will see coming. Before anyone can act, they must first determine if the plot is real, and who is behind it.

It falls upon a British spy, struggling with tragedy, and his old friend from the SAS, himself worn down by his years of service to Queen and Country, to learn what they can of the plot and stop it if they can.

  1. What shite. The plan to destroy the West has started long ago. Russia just has to sit and wait it out. The libreals are cutting thier/ours own throat.
Putin, the new boogy man of the cucks.

  2. Darn, not available to Americans. Some secret Canadian ploy to destroy the south?

  3. Obama has filled our borders with UN-American Socialists, and flooded every Federal agency with hardcore leftists dedicated to the destruction of all traditional American values. So, yes, the attack has been ongoing and escalating for several generations.
Sadly, only history will reveal that it was these traditional values (fierce independence, free markets, and work ethic) that BUILT America (and the West … including Japan). Only when these Neo-Marxists run out borrowing power … will they realize how brain-DEAD their “Hopes and Changes” were …

  4. Tony- it’s on Amazon.com as well. I’ve actually sold several in the good ol’ USA. I’m currently working on a second book called “Montrose County”. The plan is to have an excerpt of that one attached to “Afghanistan” by the end of June.

  5. While the ego would love to do a dead tree edition, it must seek approval from the chequebook. The chequebook, however, feels that funding a dead tree edition might cut into the race car budget. Stray electrons is all I can justify for now. I did try the whole standard publishing route, but that didn’t get me anywhere. I will say this, however. If you like Afghanistan, you will really like Montrose County. When I lost my Red Deer Advocate gig (freelance columnist at $35 column!), I kind of hung up the spurs to the keyboard for a while. Then I got itchy fingers and started on the novel. About 200 pages in, it started to flow a lot better, which meant going back to the beginning and doing re-writes, etc. Finishing that, and getting emotionally vested in the characters allowed me to dig a lot deeper for the main character in Montrose County. My sister-in-law has been given some rough drafts and she’s been pretty enthusiastic about where I’ve managed to go with it.

  6. Just finished it, great story with some moments that caused a bit of diary to get in my eye. (Thoughts of 9/11 do that to me sometimes)
Thanks Bill, looking forward to your next book.
