I am always curious about how much those has-been actors and singers get paid for being environmental activities. They most certainly get paid. I am thinking of Darryl Hannah, for example, and Neil Young — many more. Much of the time they know little about the issue, but allow themselves to be prostituted for a cause. The Geldoff fee is somewhat like Trudeau charging big bucks to speak to literacy organizations while collecting the already generous MP’s salary.
