I was going to write that there is something wrong with the way Conservatives choose their candidates these days. There is. We shouldn’t expect people to be political science grads, but when you’re schmoozing at a party chat-fest, and you find yourself explaining why free speech matters…
But, it’s worse than that. Having checked old Facebook and Instagram posts, the party seems to think the job is done.
It isn’t. Nobody in the party’s Albert Street office seems to have thought it necessary to put a box on the form indicating the candidate’s conservative credentials had been examined and found satisfactory. No wonder these duds reveal themselves as traitors when their selfish ambitions aren’t realized.

It appears as though ALL of Canada’s so-called Conservative Party have a … Trump problem. Which raises the question if Canadian conservatives have ANY IDEA whatsoever what conservatism means? Cowardice is NOT a conservative value.
Sadly, that does hit the nail on the head. It’s probably because in the 40% of the population that votes to the right or to conservative at least half suffer from severe TDS. Thus, 80% of Kanadians suffer from it. (The entire 60% of Kanadians that always vote Lieberal, Dipper, Watermelon, Marxist, etc. suffer ultra-extreme TDS.)
Lesson not Learned.
The only hope for the West and the prairies lies with truck drivers and working people. Enough with the traitorous politicians.
whoever you are rd, man l love the way you think. keep at it. and when the moment is ripe, strike hard and relentlessly. these things sometimes, only 1 chance ever.
youre smart, you know what lm talking about.
ya. AB. ya got NO CHOICE AB, you *have to* get OUT or TROC *will* drag you down into ruin corruption, decay and bankruptcy. and they WILL pull every godam dirty trick and more. jeepers, what is it we’re discussing? hmmm? oh ya, floor walkers by the bushel now. because the only BUSHELS you need concern are bushels of cash crops.
gawdalmighty ya got the brains, personnel, resources, finances, motivation, dire need, and CATASTROPHY looming if you continue to acquiesce as ‘polite Canaduhians’ because THAT Canada no . . . .longer . . . . . exists.
nuff said.
Right on Kritter! (And roaddog)
That canada died long ago.
I recall back in the day, about 1993 when Reform almost ALMOST became the Loyal Opposition.
ALMOST, except the BQ got 53 seats and Reform got 52 seats. Chretien and the “east” had their bread buttered on both sides.
The writing was there on the wall for those that could read it!!
One of the roadblocks to fixing this problem is the habit of those that like free stuff but want a conservative reputation to avoid the inconvenience of having to actually be conservative.
This habit allows hyphenated conservatives to be the face of conservatives in Canada.
I speak of course of that phenomenon called the progressive conservative.
When was the last time you ever heard a liberal referred to in a way that makes them conditionally aligned with the liberal party?
For example why doesn’t anyone use the term communist-liberal?
Than hyphenated moniker was never required because the communists simply rebranded as liberals. I.e. when Lester Pearson, a Soviet mole, took the helm. After coming up with a communist inspired rag Pearson brought Pierre Elliot Trudeau on board.
bingo. knowing full well turdeau 1.0’s fondness for things communist. the voyage to asia.
the stereotype privileged upbringing that oddly seems de rigueur for communist elites.
‘if thats true it all fits’ does seem to apply here.
There is stiff competition to win the title The Stupid Party throughout the Western world.
There are still too many Progressives (aka small c conservatives) in the CPC. Get rid of them.
Members from other parties need to be barred from buying memberships. This is probably where the Lieberal and Dipper traitors originate.
I am so pis**d at the CPC. Bloody well learn from Trump – unabashed MCGA and Canada First messaging to carry the day. Stupid wishy washy BS party is afraid of their own shadow – man up and try it for chrissakes. Will they get totally blown away if they do? Maybe. But who cares, it’s no different than where they’ve been for the last 11 years – nowhere. Mewling in opposition while the Davos crowd runs over this once great nation.
And another thing – stop running shitty no name candidates. Pickering-Uxbridge was ripe for the picking when Twinkie O’Connell resigned. What does CPC do? They run an absolutely abysmal no-name candidate and lose again to a former city councillor from Markham which isn’t even in the riding.
And after that what did they do? THEY’RE RUNNING THE SAME LOSER CANDIDATE AGAIN. Why would I get off my couch for any of that? No way.

correct, correct, aaaaand correct. its true in business sometimes, a ‘strategy’ may not work. if it doesnt youve just expedited the inevitable, BUT doing ‘x’ may be your only shot. the only thing that *could* work.
this is what Conservatives are facing, in Canaduh, right now. make a &%$($&$!?! STAND ekaskucfref!!!
show some ‘un-Canadian’ BACKBONE. we remnants of true conservatism need it and await.
you’re move PP. need any proof? April 13 2026.
I’ve been saying this for years, hence the term CUCKservative.
SaskParty has the same problem, but at least the SaskParty was always a centrist party since its foundation and never meant to fool anybody into thinking they’re conservatives. Their mentally defective detractors in the Marxist NDP think anything right of them is a conservative, and SaskParty supporters themselves like the proverbial frog in a pot don’t even realize how left of center they’ve become.
There’s nothing wrong with the way the Conservatives choose their candidates. The system is working exactly as intended.
ah, the uniparty angle
Rod Serling voice.
“What if there were an actual conservative party choosing actual conservatives?”
I chose to use the subjunctive voice because it best reflects the hypothetical irony.
Coulda had Max.
