What would have happened if Harper were re-elected: common sense pipeline policy. Oliver is right, Canada is risking missing out on new oil markets in the indefensible idea that pipelines are “riskier.” Than what – they’re not saying. Don’t count on the vapid Trudeau administration to suddenly find common sense, surely now a superpower inside the Ottawa beltway.

The Saudis ship crude in tankers up the St. Lawrence River, even as Alberta tries to convince Quebec politicians to accept domestic oil. Iran is gearing up production now that sanctions are lifted. Everywhere, energy exporters are busily capturing market share, including the market of our own country. Meanwhile, Canada cannot get its act together.”

Critically, communicate to Canadians the facts and urgency of the issue.”

Let’s all keep that in mind as this spendthrift wise administration follows the mentored route of ON’s colossal debtidiocy, now possessing the highest non national debt in the world on behalf of her hapless voters.
