  1. hmmm.
    I wonder what quantity of drugs landed on the coffee tables of the magazine honchos after agreeing to this? no doubt both sides viewed it as a ‘win-win’.
    investigative journalism just took another body blow in the process.
    I stopped reading the thing the time they had eddie murphy on the cover picking his nose, and concluded the decision was dead on the time they featured some talk show host with a plumber’s crack.

  2. Why bother with Rolling Stone? Why not just ask for a compilation of 3rd graders’ “What I did on my Summer Vacation”; it will be closer to reality and probably include more hard-hitting insights.

  3. Is it just me or wouldn’t ElChapo make a fine Librano cabinet minister… The guy would be perfect as a Trudozo minister of weed. As for “Rolling Stone” magazine, whatever that is, they are a “progressive” jewel in the crown thats for sure… didn’t Rolling Stone magazine used to be a magazine that covers the music industry? Now they’re a magazine of “progressiveness”, or have they always been “progressive” propagandists?

  4. “…It’s too bad the Rolling Stone didn’t extend the same courtesy to the U of Virginia fraternity rape suspects…”
    Fraternity = white men
    EL Chapo = non-white man
    Leftists hate white men.

  5. Whare’s Hunter Thompson when you need him?
    Druggie or no, he’d call a spade, a spade…. damn the torpedoes!!

  6. I mean, far be it from me to start a rumour, but what are the chances that Penn was just trying to help out his buddies Holder and Obammy? 😉

  7. I suppose Penn thinks he is another Chavez. Will the cartel use a chain saw or axes on Penn for leading the police to his hero?

  8. You would think, if the law was not an ass, that meeting secretly with a wanted man – and not just any wanted man, let’s be clear, this is the world’s biggest bad ass in the drug trade – and failing to notify authorities, would be a crime in of itself.
    Penn should be locked up for 20 years.

  9. “ABC host George Stephanpoulos, at the conclusion of their interview about the 2016 campaign for the Republican nomination, asked Rubio what he thought of the revelations about Penn.”
    “Mexican authorities are now investigating,” Stephanopoulos asked, “Do you have any problem with what he did?”
    “Sean Penn is not someone I spend a lot of time thinking about,” Rubio said. “I didn’t even know he was still around. I think he made movies a long time ago or something … If one of these American actors who have benefited from the greatness of this country, who have made money from our free enterprise system, want to go fawn all over a criminal and a drug trafficker in their interviews, they have a constitutional right to do it. I find it grotesque.”

    If only we could be so lucky.
