    If memory serves, she’s one of those headline grabbing TO based serial nutters.

  3. Look, the moonbats aren’t always wrong. Constant creeping nanny state surveillance really is a problem, although it is generally the moonbats that are behind it. And if you’re teaching kids not to misbehave because they’ll get caught, as opposed to because it’s wrong and hurts other people, you’re parenting wrong anyway. Frankly I thought the Elf on the Shelf thing was creepy as hell when I first saw it four years ago.

  4. I didn’t read the whole article, but I have to agree with her. Incrementalism is a whopper of a conditioning device. But of course I have always thought the idea of micro chipping our elderly and wee ones was also a way to condition people to accept inner gps, for our own safety don’t cha know….Finger printing your child st s police kiosk is also one of those things I can not believe parents allow….gives me the full on police state heebeejeebies.

The Cdn Centre for Policy Alternatives is so completely whacked that I usually refer to it as the Canadian Centre for Alternative Reality. The real question is, why does the mainstream media devote so much coverage to the CCPA’s every moronic utterance? Why, you’d almost think they were intent on giving these moonbats some kind of credibility. Also, I’d really like to know who funds the CCPA?

You will almost ALWAYS hear the Fraser Institute labelled as “right wing” something along those lines, but also almost NEVER hear the Cdn Centre for Polciy Alternatives labelled (correctly) as radical left or even Marxist. Funny thing though is that the Fraser Institute is the top think tank in Canada according to the “2014 Global Go To Think Tank Report” published by the University of Pennsylvania and has been so ranked for seven consecutive years. It is also ranked 19th out of 6,618 think tanks from 182 countries worldwide. You never hear that from the media.

    just ask the citizens of the former fascist states in the world including mussolini’s Italy (the first modern fascist state), Deuchland 30s – 40s, Spain for 40 years, Chile under pinochet, Argentina, Haiti, Philippines under marcos, most of central america, Iran under pahlavi, lots of examples. all with a very strong police presence.

  10. So a “leftist” says it then it must be untrue, eh? But, when a “conservative” president passes the ridiculous overreach parts of the patriot act it was all hunky dory at the time. Recent proof of rampant spying by the NSA and “conservatives” are outraged that the “leftist” Snowden is a traitor. This partisanship is what is allowing politicians to rule over the citizenry.
    It used to be the other way around when the citizenry had balls. So that right there proves that politicians on both sides over time have lulled the people to accept being ruled over. The mindset should be politicians vs the people, not this state today that has the “left” and “right” arguing the merit of their tyrant over the other. They are both sides of the same coin.

  11. As a child in our home, Santa finding out who’s naughty and nice was part of the holiday experience. Never lost any sleep over it. Then at about 6 found out Santa wasn’t real. Whatever. Not until today did I learn this was a social programming conspiracy. My foundations have been shaken.

  12. Wouldn’t hurt if you knew your history. Mussolini and Hitler were not “right wing”…..they were very much leftists, notwithstanding the whitewashing of history of the looney left. As for Pinochet, Chileans are very happy that he stepped in when he did otherwise Chile would have ended up being a sewer like Cuba and Venezuela. Argentina was Peronista primarily…..looney left.

  24. You’ve got the cart before the horse. In order to control the country, fascist leaders make large businesses a ward of the state. They are as anti-free-market as it’s possible to get outside of communism (who nationalize them – the same effect, but the government then pays the salaries for their puppets instead of the company they “direct”).
    And of your list, only Pinoche would qualify as being on the Right in the common view. Why? Because he kept his word – once the revolutionary goals had been established he stepped aside for elections. Your diatribes are an excellent example of why the left demands that they alone should be allowed to teach history – it’s not that you know so little, it’s that so much of what you know just isn’t right (paraphrasing a great American President).
