In 1967, when I was still in public school, and the desire to be “Canadian” was at a fever pitch, there was an attempt to define what it meant to be “Canadian” called the “Canada West” project. I know about this effort because my Grade 8 school teacher was directly involved. After 2 years of discussion, it failed to produce any measurable results – no description of what a Canadian was, or how we thought and acted. Just a bunch of good feelings.

Well, my husband also has lots of impressive credentials, but he also voted for the Liberals, so in that regard, he too is a moron I am sorry to say. Too many otherwise smart people were not able see through the false narrative from the media and the left. They were manipulated. Propaganda works and in this case, the election was only the culmination of many years of negative propaganda against Conservatives. I think Liberals will make a huge mess of things over the next four years. Hopefully that will help many knee-jerk Liberal supporters to see the light.
