Premier Wynne, Did You Just Call Me A Racist And A Xenophobe?
Did I take it personally? Yes. I took it personally on behalf of 67% Canadians who disagree with the year end deadline imposed by the Canadian government to bring 25000 Syrian refugees into the country.
But the Conservatives were the divisive party….

One of the comments in Ujjal’s blog made reference to the homeless etc. Exactly the juxtaposition that came to mind as this thing with the 25,000 began to take centre stage. How is it that we did not “put an end to child poverty” and “provide homes for the homeless” during all these years since the 90’s, but all of a sudden we can absorb these migrants? Oh ya, Harper’s fault. I forgot.
bullsh*t, it’s Harris’ fault/sarc
This is the level of rhetoric you can expect on continuing basis. No , that is wrong ,in many cases expect much worse. This is the resort of people who have no credible response to reasoned debate. Brad Wall raises concern about oil industries job loss ,well you deserve it for ruining the environment. Ask a person to think about what they are voting for ,not who they are voting against, well you are insulting them and they deserve an appoligy . Ask for independent climate change data , you are a stupid denier who should be screwed up the butt . Given the tone of what our governments are doing , I am sure they will cry the loudest when the bill for this party is presented. However I expect it will all be Steven Harper’s ,some rich person’ s or somebody else’s fault.
“Oh ya, Harper’s fault. I forgot.”
That shtick can’t last though.
For the Liberals, the good news is that they got rid of the hated Harper regime.
But guess what the bad news for the Liberals is?
Yup. They got rid of the hated Harper regime.
At a certain point in the future during this nouveau régime of sunny ways, unicorn flatulence and rainbow gumdrops, the specter of Harperism will lose its Juju with the public.*
Just as blaming “Evil Bush” no longer provides much consolation for the waning Obama administration and its acolytes at the fag-end of his presidency, so will it be for the Liberals and the Harper Boogeyman.
* That has already begun. Does anyone really give a rat’s about the Duffy trial now that we’re living in a post-Harper universe?
In this day and age a “racist” is anyone arguing with a liberal.
Ujjal has a right to be wary. Genocide of Hindus by Muslims in Afghanistan, Pakistan and India took place over 100’s of years during the initial expansion of islam beyond Arabia and Turkey. 100’s of millions were killed, raped, enslaved.
One wonders if Ujjal had been completely honest if he had concerns due to the “refugees” being Islamic? That’s where the debate needs to go, not just the sleeper terrorist angle.
‘ “Oh ya, Harper’s fault. I forgot.”
That shtick can’t last though. ‘
Sure it can. Talk to any Liberal or public union shill here in Ontario and all are problems are still being caused by Mike Harris. Yes, I have been told this by different people as recent as the last provincial election.
So did he take it personally, or on behalf of 20-30 million Canadians?
You beat me to it…….not only doesn’t it ‘not last’, but it can last forever; all they do is change the names, by way of updates, every now and then.
“Talk to any Liberal or public union shill here in Ontario…”
I mean the public at large.
Oh dear. So now everyone whe doesn’t agree with the thoughts of Great Thinker Trudeau is now a raaaaacist
I posted on the article;
How is it nobody is talking about the huge elephant in the room? The UN has stated itself most of the migrants are not Syrian. If they are true refugees, FROM Syria , they are not IN Syria now. They are in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, the Caucasus, North Africa and the Persian Gulf and Europe. Most in relative safety with nothing to fear from Syria.. The first refugee Contracting State they arrived in accepted them and cannot send them back to Syria. The fact they wish to move to a more benevolent society is not a matter of urgency for us. http://www.unhcr.org/3b66c2aa10.html
“…In this day and age a “racist” is anyone arguing with a liberal…
For saying it, this makes you a racissss!!!
Is this what we’ve been reduced to, socialists debating statists?
“For saying it, this makes you a racissss!!!”
Even quietly contemplating that you will one day think about it, makes you a RAAAAAACIST.
I just want to know, when he will make pot legal and free for all?.
Not agreeing with a liberal is also nasty and mean spirited and undemocratic.
Exactly. We must help these “Syrian” “refugees” who are not from Syria and are not refugees.
The mental Marxists are fundamentally a racist cult, they demand a closed (PC) culture. When you are called a racist by them it is a badge of Honor…They really, really hate you!
The Donald is been criticized by the MSM for reminding Americans about the Muslims cheering 9/11 in NJ…. Canadians need to be reminded of the CBC coverage of Muslim town hall cheering, a disgrace that was sweep under the rug… CBC should have been shuttered….
Canada needs security on the home front, role the CBC tapes…
Suck it up Ujjal.
As BC’s NDP AG back in the 90’s, Dosanjh was instrumental in giving fangs to the BCHRTribunal Sec 7.1’hate speech’ show trials (see BCHRT/Pardy v Citizen Earles).
Oddly enough, Canada’s worst terrorist attack, which killed more innocents than were slaughtered in the Hedbo office and not-so-gay Paris combined, was ‘likely’ perpetrated by ‘brown supremacists’ of the same sort that thrashed Ujjal with an iron pipe when he was a ‘civil rights’ legal activist.
Fifteen years on from that terrorist outrage, Dosangh was made NDP Premier of BC.
I say ‘likely’ perpetrated, as the quarter-century criminal investigations and court hearing which sprang from that atrocity never produced any real ‘Justice’ for Canadians writ large.
Ujjal’s performance as a latter day Liberal in the ‘Justice and Human Rights Subcommittee’, which heard Ezra Levant and Mark Steyn among others, was a fine example of how his politically correct posturing as an elected politician has given way to his gnashing of teeth as a common Canadian when spoken to in similar manner by Premier Wynne.
What does “racist” even mean anymore these days. It’s lost it’s mojo. Yet it would seem we have a never ending stream of new words as well of various “racist” sub sets. “Racist” at one time lumped a whole lot of ideas together and was used with some reserve. Today it’s usually the first word out of the mouth of someone who is losing, has lost or didn’t have an argument of merit to begin with.
“What does “racist” even mean anymore these days.” It means shut up, only agreed to viewpoints are permitted.
If taking Islam seriously in terms of the Koran and beliefs articulated is racist — then I am a racist. Unfortunately name calling does not address the central issue. Islamic beliefs are in direct opposition to Western culture and beliefs. Muslims are not interested in integrating.
