Full Speed Ahead!

Umm, what direction, sir?

But the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, which registers asylum seekers and is supposed to be working with Canada on its resettlement program, said Tuesday that it remained largely in the dark about Ottawa’s plans.

Competence. #SunnyDays

  1. All I can say about this is……
Will Soon Be Under Siege By ISIS and AlQaeda
Because the drama teacher doesn’t give two licks about national security. Even with the RCMP and CSIS doing most of heavy lifting in regards to keeping the nation safe from internal and external security threats. PM pansy ass doesn’t seem to care about the fallout from his decision making. In about in a year or two you’ll see what kind of damage will be done when these refugees are completely settled.
    Riots anyone?

  2. If we have to bring in that many that fast, can we at least isolate them until we have some confidence regarding the threat they may or may not present? We’ve done that before…sending the Irish to Grosse-Isle in the St Lawrence River. Anticosti Island looks like a good place…(or maybe Salt Spring Island!)

  3. Don’t forget climate change, as per the morons at the French edition of the Huffington Post this weekend.
But I agree, life imitates Monty Python more and more these days.

  4. Good let all those refugees go live in the United Nations building useless bunch let the refugees have the place the Useless Nations asnt brought peace like their suppost to

  5. A couple of points – the previous government was only accepting refugees from camps and those living in ‘safe’ countries. Quite a few of hose living outside camps were those for whom the camps were dangerous – christians and those minorities deemed infidels by the majority of the camp dwellers. Assuming the care bear government follows the same method, and given the time restraints they probably will use the ready made database, then we will not be looking at the migrants now in Europe but those left behind.
The second point is that in order to meet the artificial political timeline, it is probable that some vetting will be done in Canada. What is the procedure for sending back those failing the security checks if they are already in Canada given that the Supreme Court will block sending anybody back to a country in which they will be in danger. In one scenario, ISIS could bribe native staff in the source countries to place on the list entire cells masked as refugees, have them bought to Canada at our expense, and we would not be able to send them back. CSIS will not be able to hire enough watchers for the ISIS members identified in the secondary review. Maybe the Media will ask that question of the government.

  6. “Maybe the Media will ask that question of the government.”
The First Session of the 42nd Parliament is scheduled to open on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 1:00 p.m.ET
I’m sure the Official Opposition(CPC) will be asking the hard questions that “the Media” is too in-the-tank to ask the LPC regime as soon as the ceremonials are done.

  7. Some old commie once said the western world/capitalism would sell the rope by which they would be hanged. Will we now be passing out suicide vests at the citizenship ceremonies? May as well. Well freedom, you had a good run. Nice knowin’ ya.
