    And when the family of the victim goes to complain they are laughed at by the JBTs and thrown out of the station.
    Had there been no recording there would be no case, just another nameless victim of officer Cartman running amok.
    Law and order morons rushing to the defenses of the JBTs in 3, 2, 1…

  5. I am shocked!! I was upset at CBC today, the story was about the NDP shutting down Coal Fired plants in Alberta. I would like to see a document that spells out the actual emissions from a coal fired plant.

    I was shocked that the comment was not deleted. Then it dawned on me. This article is not hurting the Liberals or Trudeau. It’s hurting the NDP that have also been a target of the CBC for some time now.

  18. @Colonialista: I don’t see it the same as you. I ask myself what I would do if I were in the place of the person being detained. Would I struggle as if my life depended on it, as if I was trying to escape, as if I were guilty and desperate, yell and scream to “let me go” as if this had any validity in that situation, continue to struggle and yell even after it was clear that I was not going to prevail…… or would I simply submit in the belief that afterwards this entire arrest thing would be seen as a mistake. And maybe later I would visit my lawyer… or not.
    I’ve seen this crap with the police before (in other videos) and it always amazes me how stupid these “victims” behave. But there it is, and some moron is always claiming it is all the fault of the police.

  19. He was completely innocent and did not even had a chance to process what was happening to him and comply before the blows landed. I would not resist, but I know that cops are jackbooted sociopaths looking for the slightest excuses to get their rocks off by brutalizing people. So no I would not give them the excuse, although they would probably have done the same thing just for fun. But a normal innocent person minding his own business will not behave that way. He will be shocked, he will panic, he will try to plea and try to shake off the attackers. These are natural instinctive reactions, especially for someone who believes the cops are the good guys.

    And when they realize their mistake they would either filed false charges of a assault and resiting just to intimidate you to shut up or they would tell you to f*** off like they did tot he family of this guy. Because a JBT believes that he can do to you whatever he likes and if you complain about his conduct you’re an enemy that needs to be taught a lesson.
