Blog Notes

I injured my eye a couple of days ago, and screen work is just a little bit painful. Accordingly, I’m going to try to rest it as best I can this weekend, so blogging may be slow.
(Happy Halloween!)

Isis claims they downed a passenger jet. Killed 200+. Let’s withdraw and let them run amok out there because it won’t affect others, just the rebels.
    Thanks, Justin. Amateur.

  2. “Clearly we need a tree registry.”
OMG…..don’t even think about such a thing. We have to many government employed nitwits now!

  3. Gee, hope it’s not your shooting eye.
Recently had an eye issue myself. Using a scope left handed (eyed) quite an inconvenience.

  4. Well at least it wasn’t the classic ‘sharp stick in the eye’…!
Happy Halloween and my mother really does come from Frankenstein. 🙂

  5. Kate, it’s time for vengeance, fire up the chainsaw.
Prairie girls shouldn’t be victimized by trees.
Be prepared, always carry one of the Victorinox Swiss Army knives with a saw blade.
    Hopefully, you can still wink?

  6. Let’s ban trees (at least in Saskatchewan.) ‘Cause if is saves just one eyeball then we should have a tree registry.Something tells me you aren’t going to WCB for this. 😉
Get Lance to read to you until you get better, eh. Take care.

  7. tree registries are at mikeymans place..spit.
All you need is halfdozen tamaracs..
    Get plastic eye glasses, kate.

  8. Kate: “I walked into a tree branch, and bruised my eyeball. It still works, just hurts a little with light changes.”
That would HURT. I was wondering if you’d airbrushed your face for Hallowe’en and got your eyeball. You never know, with ‘artistes’.
Anyhow, I hope your eye heals fast!

  9. Hope you didn’t tear the retina. Hope you saw an optometrist at least who could refer you to a specialist double quick. Local hospitals might not catch it.My husband injured his eye even with his glasses on by leaning down not too close to the small tractor exhaust pipe.
