Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

So is Justin’s first foreign visit to ISIS where to show solidarity he can behead a few Christians and Yazidis. Maybe he can help stone to death some lady who took off her niqab.
Thanks to the electorate in Canada the slide to Canada being an Islamic state will be greatly accelerated. Much of Europe is already in its death throes. Those that have no belief will fall for anything.
Don’t worry friends. None of the million-per-year new migrants will ever leave Toronto. There’s an invisible fence around the GTA, past which no immigrant will willingly go for long.
I see their kids sometimes when they go to the dragstrip at Cayuga Speedway. They stop at the gas station, mill around in little knots and they look -nervous-. Like, they’re in enemy territory and they feel exposed.
Nobody from around here is scowling at them, or yelling, or even looking at them funny. We don’t care, really. Sometimes a farm kid will say “nice car dude” and get a nervous smile out of them.
They’re nervous and skittish because they’ve been educated from baby day care all the way to university that rural white people are violent rednecks who really really REALLY want to kill them. In fact I believe there’s a half-semester section in the new Ontario S3x Education syllabus on redneck p3rv3rsions, s3x-attacks by rednecks and how to make it from Toronto to Montreal without getting r@ped by feral rednecks.
It’s all good. Liberals got our backs.
“But so what? M Trudeau’s narrative is the one that will prevail – that questioning Islamic self-segregation is at odds with “Canadian values”.”
Yes it will,- and it will prevail because this is the same “whistling past the graveyard” Pollyanna denial progs showed prior to WWII where the enlightened “progressive” narrative defending Hitler as being “good for his nation” and “a man who loved his country” and “a socialist who was ahead of his time” – and this was as he was invading Poland. That kind of prog delusional optimism is personified by Nevil Chamberlin returning with a signed non aggression treaty from Hitler
People want to believe in sunny myths when faced with the grim realities of staring into the face of raw evil (and fractional divisions of it) Because admitting something is in fact evil mans you have to do something about it to save that little bubble of security you have become accustomed to- In the case of narrow minded progressives it also means you have to admit (at least to yourself) that your philosophy is not only fallible but dangerously wrong in its real world application.
And so the Canadian Neville Chamberlain of our era will continue to “whistle as we pass the grave yard” until the day the reaper rapes their daughter/wife/girlfriend/mother in the street or kills a loved one in a fatwa or holy street riot or burns their church or home – OR STORMS THE PARLIAMENT BUILDING IN AN ARMED RAGE – intent on killing progs simply because of WHO they are NOT.
Winston Chrurchill’s immortal wisdom capsulized the denial of suicidal optimism as a progressive being a man who stands last in line on the back of an alligator hoping the alligator will eat enough people in front of him that it will spare his life – of course this optimism relies on the faulty logic that an alligator’s appetite can be satisfied.
Occam, really you’re looking at this the wrong way.
Sure, bad things are going to happen. We all know this, it’s obvious.
You have to ask yourself, -where- are the bad things going to happen? Who’s going to get hurt?
Take a look at the electoral map, and superimpose a population map on it. All the concentrations of population voted Liberal. Everybody else voted Conservative. All new immigrants will go immediately to Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Vancouver, maybe Calgary and Edmonton at a pinch.
That’s who voted for this. That’s who’s going to get mugged. No different than Detroit. The outcome is inevitable, as the day follows the night.
It’s too far for the zombies to walk to my house. I got my popcorn, I can wait for them to smarten up on their own.
And so it goes with a whimper AND a bang.

The Phantom replied to comment from Occam @ 9:52 AM –
“Occam, really you’re looking at this the wrong way.”
Forgive me Phantom for my concern for the nation as a whole 😉
But, I hear ya. I moved out of the urban cesspool some time ago and I never see the foot soldiers of social/civil decay at any rural social venues like local fairs or barn raisings or quad races or gun shows or turkey shoots or pig roasts or salmon derbies. I’m secure in my own self sufficiency and security. You are correct that areas which produce food, shelter and energy are fly-over country for zombies.
Perhaps the urban-rural split in our culture/nation will translate into a division of boarders language as well as culture – because politics define these things, and if we look at the geo-political demographics of the last election Canada is starkly divided-factionalized. If the central political agendas only play to one factionalized into political islands and oceans, it will more tightly congeal the divided territories into essentially nations within a nation -and in that perspective a confederation is impossible.
I can see western alienation rising again and rural resitance to urban-centric legislating.
Don’t be afraid, be very afraid.
Work harder, make more money, pay more taxes — the Military-Industrial-Spying Complex needs more taxpayer money.
Last year more people in the United States were killed by toddlers than by terrorists. It’s called relative risk.
“Forgive me Phantom for my concern for the nation as a whole.”
I know, I’m just funning you.
Problem is though, as you say, there is no “nation as a whole”. There is Toronto, and then there is “everything else”.
They are a different nation, and they hold me and mine to be chattels, mere servants to be ordered about and disposed of as convenient. We have no ancestral rights, no personal property as such, no purpose or reason for existence other than to contribute the tithes that keep the TTC running.
They are about to visit Hell upon themselves, and by their own hands. There will be camps. Big ones. With barbed wire and no-kidding camp guards. The cities and their inhabitants are going to suffer.
I’m cool with it.
After a lifetime of trying and talking myself blue in the face to anyone who will listen, I’m done. This election finally broke something. I don’t care now.
Maybe I’ll care again later, maybe the ice will melt and the sun will come out, and I’ll be able to summon a tear. But right now, nope. I’m going to do -nothing-.
Let the games begin.
Good analysis, Occam. What I find outrageous about the left`s narrative on this is that being anti-niqab at the Citizenship ceremony, anti-terrorists being able to keep their citizenship if they are dual, and wanting a tips line for victims of practices such as forced marriages are NOT in any way anti Islam — unless one assumes that Muslims as a group embrace these extremist practices. They do not, and most Canadians are very tolerate of immigrants and people of different faiths. It is a cynical ploy on the part of the Trudeau Liberals to attempt to portray Conservatives as bigots because of their opposition to what are really extremist practices. Accepting such extremist behaviour and making no efforts to preserve traditional notions of Canadian values simply strengthens those who seek to undermine our Western democracy. I think that might be part of the plan. At this point, I am convinced that the Liberal Party is complicit in a plan to undermine Canadian sovereignty. Canadian naivete on issues such as the niqab and immigration will be a big help.
Rizwan @ 10:43 AM | Reply “Last year more people in the United States were killed by toddlers than by terrorists. It’s called relative risk.”
And more people died from high risk recreational sex than gunshot so even politically convenient statistics are “releative”
So, the “relative” factor in this equation is how you define terrorists – if you restrict the definition to Islamic nutters on this continent this statement may come near to being true. It is interesting to not Police shot and killed 1067 people last year many were falsely IDed as criminals and a lot were bad “raids” – police “accidental shootings” outnumber civilian AS 8-1 even though the public has more firearms – so it really is relative.
Not to be too much of a conspiracy theorist, the Lieberal party and its minions are merely another brick in the wall of the “progressive left” and their relentless campaign to change the world into some vision of leftist perfection. Recall the Tri-Lateral Commision and the bizarre notion of the left that they were bound to rule the world. Now the left is inching closer and closer to their own vision of “One World Government”. If only Stephen Harper had realized a year or so ago that he no longer had the confidence of conservatives, we may have had a refreshing of the party and new leadership could have stemmed the putrid tide of lieberal hate. No matter who I speak to since the election, virtually all voted to reject Harper, regardless of the success that the conservatives showed in regards to the economy and improving our standing in the world. All that hard work will now come to naught.
Agreed with your comment.
“It is interesting to not Police shot and killed 1067 people last year …”
Would like to add that last year 220 unarmed people were killed by policemen in the US.
Yes, many voted to reject Harper — but that was not Harper`s fault. It was the demonization on the left. Everything Harper did was grossly misrepresented. Ask those voter what they did not like . . . trivial, trivial stuff. There were a number of organizations going after him and I believe these groups were funded by international money: LeadNow, the strategic voting groups, some science evidence group claiming Harper was undermining science. The combined effect was to demonize Harper, but the goal was to get rid of Conservatives to make way for the globalist agenda — that means, a Liberal win, and everything, EVERYTHING was orchestrated in that direction, including the bizarre choice of Liberal leader, Justin Trudeau. There is a soft headedness among Canadian voters and the globalist knew how to manipulate them. Deomize Conservatives . . . come up with `nice`sounding policies and a telegenic leader who would appeal to nostalgia. It was a well orchestrated campaign. The only thing a different Conservative leader would have done would be to weaken the Conservative vote further. Harper has been a very strong draw for Conservative voters because he is an exceptionally intelligent and capable PM.
I remember a year ago at the time of the attack on Parliament hill, the progressives were all abuzz that this was Canada’s 9-11 and they would remember exactly where they were and what they were doing at the time they heard about it.
I’d love to be able to question them now and I would bet that most of them wouldn’t remember a damn thing.
Interesting conjecture.
How you figure that Rick?
Harper Derangement Syndrome is an impenetrable wall of hate.
Changing the leader does not seem at help, just look at the hate directed at George Bush today.
The Conservative vote % barely moved so it was not conservatives who lost faith in Harper.
Well the party of corruption is back at the helm, so we need not be surprised by our future governance.
As a Reform party member, I never did agree with Preston, that the west wants in, I was always troubled by the consistent voter support of lying and corruption by Eastern Canadians.
The Alliance did unite the less spendthrift vote, but little changed.
Income is still taxed as if it is a sin.
Sin Taxes as in Tobacco and booze.
There will be no reduction in this theft for the forceable future.
Reform did not work.It did buy the nation some time.
Can our current political setup be changed?
Civilization depends upon, property rights, personal security rights(castle law), known as law and order and the faith that all are equal before the law.
It is a shared belief, hence an illusion.
And currently those who produce useful goods and ideas are not buying the BS.
So as one who has enjoyed our era of ease, wealth and unprecedented access to energy, what can be done to pass these same pleasures on to the next generation?
We have lived as Gods, compared to our Great-grandparents, yet it looks like we are handing the bill on to our Grandchildren while depriving them of the means to survive.
Reading your comments mirrors what I just posted on Kate’s article captioned “Just In Time For Christmas”. I concur with you.
Are we surprised? Uncle Mo Strong, Power Corp and George Soros and the rest of the Globalists are going to be working overtime to bankrupt our country.
They have the Shiny Pony to do their bidding for them. I am sure they will send most of these folks to the Liberal strongholds because some of the less brainwashed Lib Left may catch on to what is going on. They will send them to Ontario and Quebec because all the feminized , metrosexual girly men proudly sporting man buns are much more accepting of multiculturalism. They have no idea which side is the business end of a gun and have no idea how to defend themselves. Cowboys with long guns are still know how to look after themselves. They have to make sure they replace these people with a solid lifetime Liberal voters. Importing this group speeds up the process. I am sure we will see expedited citizenship for this invading army as well.
The goal is to take over our country because China needs our oil. It is that simple. Do your research and follow the money
Niqabs on the streets of Kingston, home of Sir John A. Macdonald.
CAF uniforms and niqabs: can’t believe it.
Sir John A. to English Canadians re French Canadians: “Treat them as a nation and they will respond as a free people usually do, generously. Treat them as a faction and they will be factious.”
JT seems to be saying to Canadians: “Treat them (Muslims) as Canadians and they will respond as free people usually do, generously.” The child-man really believes it. In that one thing I think he is sincere.
I saw some in Costco — I wonder if Costco requires them to remove their veils for the Costco ID. I was happy enough to ignore the niqab wearers previously, but the `trumping of Canadian values with the niqab at the Citizenship ceremony leaves me very, very resentful. For anyone who thinks the Citizenship ceremony has important symbolic value, the court decision (and subsequent support from Liberals)creates an angry backlash. The Charter seems to prevent Canadians from finding a reasonable and tolerant middle ground.
I listened to a speech Lord Monckton gave in Australia last year (following a link in another thread) and for those who didn’t do the same, this is what he said.
Quoting the answer given by Sir David King (a “scientifically illiterate chemist”), who is William Hague’s “climate change ambassador” for the U.K., when he was asked by the Environmentalist Committee of the House of Commons in May of this year [2014] whether all the nations of the world were now in principle ready to sign their people’s right away in such a treaty. He said (from Lord Monckton’s speech):
“Oh, yes, but there are two stand-outs. One is Canada, but don’t worry about Canada,” he said. “They’ve got an election in the Spring of 2015 and we and the UN will make sure that the present government is removed.” He was quite blunt about it.
And the other hold-out was Australia. And Australia he can’t do anything about because Tony Abbott is in office until after the December 2015 conference. So that means you all first of all need to guard Tony Abbott’s back, because the Turnbull faction in conjunction with the UN will be doing their absolute level best to remove your elected Prme Minister from office before the end of his term and in particular before December 2015, so they can get a hundred percent wall to wall Marxist agreement.
I’ve noticed that as well. Count it as a feature, not a bug in our dysfunctional education system.
Linda, you nailed it. The Media Party has been after PM Harper since the day he became leader of the Conservative Party.
Rest assured everyone, that if anyone, such as Jason Kenny, is elected leader of the Conservative Party and not a Laurentian Elite liberal disguised as Progressive conservative the Media Party will begin eviserating him or her immediately in order to protect the Shiny Puppet Trudeau.
