    never been right about anything in his life, economically, because he always starts his argument in reverse.

    Stafford is pitiful, his professional credentials should be revoked, for incompetence. That doesn’t stop the Corpse from having him as a panel “expert”.
    The other funny thing here, is, again, from the comments, the lack of any sort of understanding that, yes indeed (Lieberal teletubby fans), your taxes ARE going up under a LIEberal regime.   7. I’m still upset with Justin’s $600 million, taxpayer funded, advertising purchase from the CBC. ($150 million x 4 year term).
    When the Liberals were last in power, they were planning on raising the GST 2 points to 9%. Harper dropped it 2%. If the Conservatives get in they should immediately cut CBC’s subsidy by $150 million a year and tell them to get out of politics or the next cut will be even bigger.

  10. I believe that both the Liberal and NDP’s promises to the CBC constitute a de facto bribe for positive coverage. That should lead to an Elections Canada investigation if not criminal charges.

Harper has cut size of gov but it’s funny when he does that you morons claim he is silencing scientists. lol. by cutting funding and shrinking gov departments he is not silencing scientists at all he is shrinking gov and the scientists are free to find supporters of their work anywhere but the funny thing is no one wants to fund them because even idiots like you know (but wont admit it) that most scientists today are simply looking for a pay cheque anyway they can and the flavor of the day is man made climate global disruption warming change …or something like that . I hope harper wins another majority because the world is going nutz right now and he seems to be the most reasonable person out there . i do not like everything they have done but they have made my life easier to some extent and also let me keep more of my money and that is always a good thing.

    See, journalist don’t sell ads. That’s not their jobs. They just go out and report on stuff that happens. You don’t like this, of course, because you prefer it that they let your boy Harper alone to do his misdeeds in the dark.
    Those ads and the policies that govern how they work are driven by the publishers. And those publishers, especially those at Post Media, have very clearly decided who they stand for. And who they stand for is Stephen Harper.

All of the above may be true, but I have to wonder, in proportion, what do people think of the deals made between Canada and China that allow China to get all sorts of legal sweet deals, all of which basically undermines our sovereignty. This seems to be okay with just about everyone in parliament. It hasn’t become an election issue.
    So am I to understand from this that we are quite happy to become a colony of China?
    Sorry I don’t do the hashtags and the twitter stuff, I just think in old-fashioned terms, such as loyalty and an aversion to treason.

  24. Mr men .harper He is the one who is rebuilding our military, he has not cut military spending. Get your facts right . There is a current hiring bonanza at both the east and western Canadian coasts for ship builders they are recruiting in Alberta and Saskatchewan . And if Harper increased military spending you would cry bloody murder because naturally you hate the military. You like seeing Canadian flag draped coffins. It serves us right eh ?
    No we have 625billion debt nationally , Harper had to add 50billion unnecessarily or else the cry babies would have formed a coalition government and they were wanting to piss away even more money I believe they wanted 150 billion …..don’t you get it . The left is the party of adding debt and growing government . Yet you seem to be totally against it. If that’s the case then why vote for more of it? Or is it only liberals who can add debt and be praised for it? Also if Harper would have let gym and Chrysler go bankrupt you would have thrown a tantrum as well…so Harper can do no good by you stupid libtards. So you need to work on consistency either you like spending money and you support Harper bailing out gm, or you don’t like spending money and support Harper reducing waste in gov. The debt will be start the be paid back (interest included ) by 2017 by conservative fiscal plan, under Trudeau his math adds 128 billion right off the get go . If you think liberals or nap are so good for Canada watch our dollar value on turpesday morning if liberal or nap get a majority or even a minority . I bet it drops .03 cents as soon as the markets open on Tuesday. If Harper gets a majority watch our dollar gain strength on the American green back .
