  1. I was hip deep in BS before I got half way through this story, which was no
doubt yanked out some liberal American reporters anal cavity!
I remember where I was when JFK was assassinated, when Americans landed on the
moon, 9-11, the Challenger disaster, etc. I will not remember Cecil’s name
in 6 months. If my own horny unneutered feral Tomcat winds up lunch for
some bird of prey, I will be sad, but I will get over it.
Mother Nature is a cruel bitch. Man at least kills animals before he
eats them, skins them or guts them. If I were a mouse, my own pet would
    not pay me that courtesy!

  2. I think the author of this article was trying to tell us the useless empty world that the people who were so upset about Cecil live in, meanwhile a group of people, ISIL, wants to do to us what they are doing to people in the ME.

  3. Calm down there Homer…..they wuz jus’ yankin’ on yer chain.
Perhaps in poor taste but then, there is no humour in Political Correctness or Islam…….

  4. I myself don’t really care if isis kills every last person in the middle east. If all the innocent and good people are killed off by isis it will be easier to nuke the whole lot of them.

  5. Now that I’ve stopped laughing long enough to type, I must say I’m surprised at a few of the comments. Canadians with no sense of humour? I don’t believe it!

  6. Hilarious zinger response:
“At the chance of being politically incorrect, I say #allungulatelivesmatter.
But of course I may then be branded a species-ist.”

  7. Furthermore, I think it needs to be pointed out on this blog that Cecil the Lion;
is a rather Large Dear Dead Animal.
Additionally, this may be properly discussed on the “Poacher Kill Diaries”

  8. A few years back, various government employee Unions were demanding bereavement time off for not only deceased family, but friends and anyone else the member admired.
SO, how many days off can a grieving BCGEU employee have in memory of Cecil?
I would think that at least a week off with pay would be needed.

  9. LMAO. A brilliant piece underscoring the hypocrisy of the politically correct liberal left.

  10. That’s it, Ken. An infantile public creating (as Ms. Hoff – Sommers called it) a contagion of hysteria. It is a surrogate for action on the things that really matter, a salve for cowardice and a banner for shallowness.

  11. Great satire. In real life the competing news de jour was Planned Parenthood delicately hacking apart unborns and auctioning off the pieces.

  12. If this doesn’t scream satire….
“I often wonder what is wrong with America. You do not hear stories like this in Syria, partly because we already killed all our lions but also because we killed all our dentists.”
