“The left should revisit the good old days of the feminist collective,” says the Guardian‘s Julie Bindel, swollen with nostalgia for the 1970s. “Working collectively could signal a new way forward… to defeat the march of uber-capitalism.”
So let’s look back, shall we? And no, you mustn’t laugh.

The great thing about capitalism is that if some people choose to live in feminist collectives, no one stops them. If they want to share their houses with a bunch of other people in anarcho-syndicalist communes, they can fill their boots. But when they get the kind of political power over everyone else that they want, its all gulags and mass graves for those who disagree.
lefties tend to kill fellow lefties first, thusly thinning out the collectives. Hitler’s main targets were mostly lefties, the very ones who have voted for him.
Feminism has nothing to do with “equality”. It is gender fascism with an agenda to use the bludgeon of the state to smite one gender and exude state largess and legal power to the other – anyone who tells you different is lying through their teeth.
A small cadre of gender fascist leaders have made the state compliant with portions and in some cases all, of their civilly degenerate doctrine. This is a great accomplishment given the feminist voting block never amounted to anything significant. The movement has always been bluff and bluster and totally substanceless.

Lets do the math-
2015-1970= 45… Figure the average college age 20 = 65..
“Yeah, I’m just a woman with a dusty old uterus.”

Old age is such a bitch..
… the fractured left?
The left is, unfortunately, dominate, to the point of fascist exclusion and denigration of opposing positions. They are master of 5 minute hates.
You probably meant to say “dominant”, or was there some nuanced meaning in there that I didn’t understand?
The butch feminists, the radical blacks, the sexually ambiguous – they all won the battle but are too dense to realize it. However, a win is not enough. They all won’t be satisfied until their is serious repression of their supposed abusers.
Look what all those years of leftists collage adminastrators and all that booze and drugs have done to their brains cuasing a irreversible shrinkage of their brains to pea size a cranium with lots of empty space
I agree. The left owns or controls all the levers of power these days.
These old feministas are just like old Bolos (those that survived Stalin) celebrating and nostalgically pining the October 1917 coup.
If you’re a Canadian, it’s hard to fathom the powerful death grip this sort of political dogma has on so many in the UK. Our NDP – heck, even flaky Lizzie May and her nutty Greens – seem positively staid and middle-of-the-road by comparison. And what passes for the Left in US politics could barely pass as Red Tories in Britain.
I’m currently taking an ancient history course online with a British university. Though the course itself is excellent, the tedious political diatribes that frequently clog up the discussion comments are something incredible to behold – and predictably, it almost always comes from UK students of the Guardianista type.
I liked Bindel’s article. It reminded me of the naïve idealism of the 1960s, but without the heroin overdoses and gonorrhea.
Tom Wolfe had some interesting observations about those times:

I saw a feminist collective that last time I was at the bar.
All the women at the table next to us got up and went to the loo, and then they came back 20 minutes later complaining that men hadn’t built enough toilet stalls.
Seems she missed out on the greatest collective going – the nuclear family.
