  2. Hoe new is new technology? The most advanced in this story is at least 15 years old. SEMs have been around for a long time. I think SEMs have been around for 20-30 years. By the way, the O-scopes and signal processors have been around for 50 years. It is nice information,but as lot of people have done this.

  3. Think this guy recycles old lab gear. I used to use transmission EMs in 1966 and scan models appeared in labs by 69 or so. Storage scopes were a little bit later, but hell, I built a Heathkit digital scope in the early 60s…

  4. His equipment may not be “cutting edge”, but I can’t say I have the latest version of any of his equipment, or ANY version for most of it. How many people here have a scanning electron microscope in their hobby room?
    I thought the video was entertaining and I learned a few things. And he has lots of other videos. Applied Science got his 150,007th subscriber today when I subscribed.
