The Ontario Lieberals appear to be practiced the tried & true doctrine of American Leftists, namely that there’s no reason whatsoever for them to follow the laws that ordinary people (aka peasants) have to. Joe Warmington explains:
As reported by the Toronto Sun’s Antonella Artuso, Tracy McLaughlin and Christina Blizzard on Feb. 5, 2015, the OPP in an Information to Obtain expressed a view that independent Olivier, who ran as a Liberal under Wynne in the 2014 general election, was “lured” to vacate.
The documents were submitted to the court by OPP anti-rackets Det.-Const. Erin Thomas who wrote: “I do believe that Gerry Lougheed and Patricia Sorbara both engaged in soliciting and negotiating with Andrew Olivier in their respective conversations,” and “I believe the words spoken by both Lougheed and Sorbara to Olivier assists me in my belief the Criminal Code offence has been committed.”
No charges have been laid.

Without proper checks and balances, the incestuous relationship between the Liberal Government of Ontario, and the public service unions will continue, and their hold on power will increase. Nothing more will happen with this case. It is almost 4 months later, there are no charges, and there will be no charges. And the MSM is complicit – it is all about nuance, not fact; not news, just fallacy. Bad presuppositions lead to bad decisions, one after another after another.
The way to stop this agenda is to cut the cash flow. Just like the USA mistakenly propped up the Soviet Union with foreign aid, the government of Ontario is vulnerable to tax revenue, and becoming more vulnerable by the day. It would hurt a lot, but long term, that is going to happen anyway.
Like Obama is to the US public, the Wynne/McGuinty reigns are just a symptom of the real problem: a soft, uncurious, and quivering public. La meme chose for Quebec, and, after recent events in Alberta, it looks like things are not a lot different there. 😉 (Nothing like a bit of Sunday a.m. pot – stirring, eh?)

And none will be, or it they are they will be dismissed, delayed, abandoned and gone from the news cycle.
Two things tell me all I need to know about the forces at work beneath the surface of Ontario’s power structure –
1) Dalton McGuinty remains un-incarcerated for public crimes – he was the perpetrator of the greatest public malfeasance and misappropriation case in the province’s history – Wynn was just a water bearer. Neither fear prosecution. Much like racketeers of criminal syndicates who have the police function and judges corrupted do not fear prosecution for their major crimes.
2) When Premier 2-Moms stood on the podium beside that Malthusian misanthrope from the UN global governance politburo (Christiana Figueres), this act spoke volumes of Wynn’s implicit agenda – Ontario is on the road to serfdom, despotism and 3rd world politics as a vassal state of the UN global socialist consortium. Agenda 21 will be enforced and accomplish its intended purpose – to subjugate Ontario to UN diktat not Ottawa, to cripple its industrial/productive Capacity and homogenize its standard of living with the 2nd and 3rd world communist cess pits which run the UN Agenda 21 platform.
They (Agenda 21 globalists) will do this to us 1 province at a time – by-passing Ottawa and setting up local municipal and provincial agenda 21 governments which operate outside constitutional stricture – we’ve seen it in Ontario and we saw the start of it in Alberta. BC will be brought to heel after Alberta has been sunjugated by the UN’s fellow travelers in the NDP.
No charges have been laid and none will be laid. Why would anyone expect Wynne to admit she knew anything about this alleged bribe?
As for Ontario, it’s the Unionista capital of Canada, even the OPP union supported Wynne. Talk about a stacked deck against good and fair governance for all,,,forget it.

– Re: your comment about the incestuous nature of public sector union-governing party alliances, here is an prophetic statement made by an astute European bureaucrat about this situation, some 200years ago – Alexis De Tocqueville said that North American representative democracy would only last until the government discovered it could bribe voters with their own money – the public sector unions-Liberal party alignment is the perfection of this incestuous trough feeding – perpetual support for perpetual patronage as the province slides into the ooze of banana republic politics – greased palms and all the best justice/policing/privilege you can buy.

I prefer Rand’s description of the only difference she saw between socialism and communism – the former being like suicide, as it is voted-in, “democratically”, while the later is simply like murder.
