I still remember where I was when we learned of the Kennedy assassination. Sitting in my 2nd grade classroom in shithole Sacramento watching my teacher weeping uncontrollably.
I also remember where I was when Colbert signed-off for the last time. I was brushing my teeth. Then, I remember flushing the toilet. My CA low-flow 1.4 gal. water-saving toilet … so I had to flush twice.
I remember where I was when Elvis died.
I also know where Elvis was when he died …
Sorry.

KenGAY, butt he’s funny in a different sort of way!
When the Court Jester is executed, you know death is but a moment away for all the serfs.
Colbert was never funny, so he settled for partisan rancor; not a particularly skilled interviewer either.
Re-runs of 25 to 50 year old sit-coms are better. A bit of nostalgia and at least one laugh in an episode.
