We think of people who rescue animals and speak of their rights and turn in their neighbors for cruelty and abuse as the good guys. It was a great shock to me – I have always been a supporter of animal rights – to come to see, gradually and over time and past my own visceral resistance – that many of them (not all, for sure) are becoming the bad guys. This has caused a great confusion, animals are, as usual, in the middle.
The people who say they are speaking for the rights of animals, are, in fact, destroying traditions that go back thousands of years, separating people from animals, trivializing the relationships between human beings and domestic animals and drawing attention and resources away from the very real nature of abuse.
And here’s the really bad news: the bad guys of the animal world are teaming up with the police, animal control officers, legislators and town councilmen to make it ever more difficult, even dangerous to have animals in our lives.

There is no better example of out-of-control enforcement than Ontario. The OSPCA has been given unparalleled search, seizure and billing powers and, working hand in hand with police, MNR, and other agencies, is waging a war against decent, hard-working rural Ontarians.
The only journalist who covers this routine abuse is Ontario Farmer’s Ian Cumming. All the rest have either studiously avoided the many stories of crushing personal ruin, or have printed verbatim – without any verification process or further enquiry – the sensational headlines and content from the OSPCA press release.

People who rat out their neighbours for ‘animal abuse’ have always been the bad guys. Like so many causes, folks like to latch onto the rare cases of actual cruelty to justify a gross intrusion into peoples lives. Just as Soviets turned their enemies into the secret police and muslims report their enemies for blasphemy, animal rights lovers turn people in to an all too eager cadre of animal welfare authorities.
Remember that without a healthy number of animal cruelty incidents the SPCA and other organizations lose their fund raising muscle.

Parasitic Do-Gooders gotta do what they gotta do.
Most organizations such as the SPCA have long since outlived their usefulness.
The boards are saturated with the classic do-gooders, vindictive,otherwise functionless idiots who must interfere with their neighbours.
Political Correctness was invented by these parasites as they have no defence against the traditional responses to their dangerous meddling insanity.
While physical violence and tar& feathers have been made illegal, remedies do exist.
Befriend these luvvies, take them ice fishing.
Sky diving is a sport they should be encouraged to participate in.
Or mock them mercilessly as with the loons of People Eating Tasty Animals.
The litmus test of these Oh so caring persons is to see how they respond to human misery.
Most seem to revel in creating more.
