  1. “Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby admits Freddie Gray died from accidental injury in van, yet charges murder anyway…”
Her press release shows the charges, with maximum penalties. Here are the charges against one of the officers, Caesar R. Goodson, Jr:
    1) Second degree depraved heart murder (30 yrs.)
    2) Manslaughter (involuntary) (10 yrs.)
    3) Assault/second degree (10 yrs.)
    4) Manslaughter by vehicle (gross negligence) (10 yrs.)
    5) Manslaughter by vehicle (criminal negligence) (3 yrs)
    6) Misconduct in office (8th Amendment)

  2. Czerwone Skurwysyny does not translate to “Red Bastards”, it is more like “Red Sons of Wh0res”

  3. She nails it:
“1. Since when do Canadians look for common sense or on-the-ground truth from judges or former judges, least of all former Supreme Court of Canada judges? Seriously. The only group arguably more out of touch with real-world experiences, either because of the limits imposed by the profession but often also by inclination, than judges and high court judges in particular are members of the Canadian Senate.
    2. There’s an unacknowledged element of self-selection that went into those Deschamps “interviewed,” mostly in focus groups and town halls. This is certainly unacknowledged in the report itself. Nowhere does Deschamps ever admit that when you head out into the world, seeking victims, you may find victims.
    3. The real danger in the Deschamps report is that the CF, already a fragile organization and burdened with a plethora of timid managers, will grossly overreact to it, and make de-sexualizing the culture the issue of the decade.”

    Nails.It.

  4. Because the Nazis are in hiding, Liberals will have to do.
“After the province banned smoking inside restaurants and bars in 2006, they lost 17 per cent of their business and haven’t recovered since, said Renaud Poulin, the president of Quebec’s largest bar owners’ association.
If it becomes illegal to light up on terrasses, clients will be forced onto the sidewalk and bars will be deluged with noise complaints, he added.”

I was at a wedding reception last summer where the smokers did their law-abiding duty and went outside to smoke. But, the smokers talked and laughed and giggled which annoyed the people in the apartment buildings across the street. The cops were called; the smokers hushed. The smokers again talked and laughed and giggled, and the cops were called; the smokers hushed. The smokers talked and laughed and giggled, and the cops were called; the smokers hushed. It went on for hours.

  5. Colossus the Forbin Project was a good movie from the 70s where AI takes over

  6. Anselm nails it.
To have chosen a judge, retired from the Ivory Tower of the Nine “Supreme Beings”, and one from a province whose political class are by tradition, anti-military.
That proves how deep the federal bureaucracy has wormed it’s way into the D.N.D.
Admonishing the military for “bad language” is like admonishing the legal profession for using Latin. (de minimus non curat lex 🙂
Attempting to feminize the military is ludicrous.
In a time of war, the question is, does it amount to treason?
Every lawyer should have to serve 4 years in the infantry before being allowed to practice law.
That would be a constitutional amendment that the citizenry could support.
Lawyers and judges aren’t as popular among the general public, as they think they are.

  7. “Lawyers and judges aren’t as popular among the general public, as they think they are.”
    Understatement of the year.

  8. What do you mean “attempting to feminize the military”? Gay top chaplain, women in combat roles.. what else is missing?

  9. Larry – “Every lawyer should have to serve 4 years in the infantry before being allowed to practice law. ”
Thucydides – “The Nation that makes a great distinction between its scholars and its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and its fighting done by fools.”

  10. Because ‘progressives’ never raise taxes, always balance the books, and always always knows how to unite…..
“Christine Elliott slammed social conservatives and played the fear card in an April 30 TVO debate against Patrick Brown, her single opponent in the race for leadership of Ontario’s Progressive Conservative Party. The self-proclaimed “progressive” candidate warned that if Brown wins, the “far right” will “take over” the party.”
    https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/christine-elliott-slams-social-conservatives-if-brown-wins-they-will-take-o?utm_source=LifeSiteNews.com+Daily+Newsletter&utm_campaign=0fae1c82a2-LifeSiteNews_com_Canada_Headlines_06_19_2013&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0caba610ac-0fae1c82a2-326154310
And those ‘far-right’ social conservatives are icky, science-hating, irrational, uneducated, lazy welfare bums, and shouldn’t vote because they are an embarrassment to the cool and enlightened progressives.

  11. I served in the Canadian Army Reserves (Logistics Branch) with a fellow Major who, as a civilian, was a Provincial Court judge. He retired from the Reserves about a year after me, also with 24 years service, and is still a sitting judge.

  12. Liberal Wynnetario.
    Who’s Wynnetario here for?

GM plans to unveil the sixth-generation Camaro in Detroit on May 16, nearly 50 years after it debuted there as a competitor to the Ford Mustang.”

  13. In my reserve unit the CO was a provincial court judge, the adjutant was a crown attorney, half the officer’s mess were lawyers and half the sergeants mess were cops.

  14. The liberal buzz machine are all excited about the possibility of Wade MacLaughlin’s coronation as the first gay Premier of PEI, and proponent of erasing PEI’s abortion laws.
And who is Wade McLaughlin? Why he is the former censor-in-chief of the University of PEI:
“But H. Wade showed his true colours as UPEI’s president during the infamous Danish Cartoon Controversy, culminating with the attacks in Muslim countries against the embassies of Denmark. These violent demonstrations were reactions to the 2005 publication, in a Danish newspaper, of drawings depicting the Islamic prophet. […]
On order from President MacLauchlan, UPEI staff scoured the campus of all copies of the offending paper, determined to undo the editors’ Wrong Think by force.”

    Gay – check
    Pro abortion – check
    Pro- Islamic – check
    Liberal – check
    Pro-censorship – check

  15. Clinton paid millions in speaking fees that equated to access. J Trudeau paid speaking fees cause he’s that interesting.

  16. Patrick Brown has consistently pandered to social conservatives in his leadership bid. Monte McNaughton is the only authentic social conservative in the race. If he can win, more power to him; if not, Elliott will, in the end, accomplish more for social conservatives than the rather unpleasant snake-oil salesman Patrick Brown.

  17. Did they at least rescue the dog while they on station?
Loyalty should be paid in kind.

  18. “ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has arrived Saturday in Erbil for key talks on military aid and the regional war against the Islamic State, Kurdish officials have told Rudaw.”
“Canada, a member of the international coalition formed to fight ISIS in Iraq and Syria, has reportedly deployed dozens of Canadian Armed Forces and many tons of military supplies to Iraq and the Kurdistan region. At least 69 Canadian military experts are currently training Peshmerga forces.
Canada has also contributed $15 million to support security measures in the region, according to reports.”

“Israeli leaders don’t meet with Jimmy Carter during Middle East visit
    Washington Post – ‎25 minutes ago‎
JERUSALEM – Former president Jimmy Carter, wrapping up his three-day mission to Israel and the West Bank on Saturday night, said prospects for renewed peace talks were so distant, he didn’t even discuss the matter with the Palestinian leadership.”
