Disclaimer here. I really like the Vikings but posted nothing in relation to that. If I did post that it was a accidental miracle and I’ll have a serious talk with my computer.

The California article is very poorly written. After reading it several times I’m still unclear on what the “new” target is. Apparently just reporting on what’s going on in California is as difficult as actually achieving it.

The Viking series is on the History channel and it’s the trailer for season 3. This is one I really enjoy as it has a good story and probably fairly accurate historically. They were brutal times and it was not unusual to have women warriors mixed in with the men which was also common with many of the germanic tribes in that era. This series deals primarily with the raiding parties along the British coast and the havoc created in their wake as well as the power struggles in their homeland. I tried to watch in on TV but found the commercials too annoying so bought the first two seasons off Amazon and will get the third when it’s released for sale. It’s not your usual Hollywood fare and as a history buff I appreciate the effort put into this series. Highly recommended. Wife finds it a bit too violent but likes it too. She just averts her eyes during the well done action sequences.

Heh. Wish someone would go Viking on more than just the Alberta NDP and the ontario Libs. We may never surrender but it looks like younger generations are throwing it all away in much the same fashion as ancient Rome. History has a ugly way of repeating itself.
