  1. Yea it’s cool, but you’d have far greater success with far greater tax savings by just rounding them up at University campuses across Europe and Canada then using a cattle bolt before dumping them in the ocean.
    Just say’n.

  2. This I call “weapons porn”. It serves to distract Americans from the questionable state of their military, from the poltroons who constitute its senior commanders, and the quislings who constitute the civilian leadership.

  3. If ya pick the right ocean/altitude the cattle bolt is un-necessary.
    Time and energy management.

  4. “Self-guiding sniper bullet?”
Perhaps there is a solution to some of the world’s problems on the horizon.
However, one thing leads to another and there is a link in the sidebar to our intellectual and moral better Elon Musk. The link says: “Tesla announces new battery storage system to power homes.” Musk says – with typical understatement – “We are talking about trying to change the fundamental energy infrastructure of the world.”
Then, within that link there is another link where Musk says: “Human drivers will be outlawed one day.” He adds, “As for human drivers, he thinks they will be banished from the wheel in the interest of public safety. It’s too dangerous. You can’t have a person driving a two-ton death machine.”
Then he clarifies in a tweet: “To be clear, Tesla is strongly in favor of people being allowed to drive their cars and always will be. Hopefully, that is obvious.”
Well, no, Mr. Musk, that is not obvious.
So, at the beginning of this comment there was a piece of advanced technology that offers a possible solution to some unidentified problem. Then, in the latter part of my comment there is an identified problem. Not necessarily linking “solution” and “problem” – just sayin’.

  5. I actually agree with Elon on the driving, so many accidents could be prevented if the privilege of racing through traffic was taken away from people. Also with a aging population, the skills are just not there anymore. I recently tested a car with all the latest gadgets, it was amazing, lane warning, radar all around the car, automatic braking that prevents rear end collisions. I can see in 5 years, all these features will be standard on all cars. Accident costs are just too high not to make it so. I can also see speeds of cars being remotely controlled by traffic monitor sensors kind of like the kart track a go too, works great, 50% power when people are learning, full power when they are ready.
As for the bullet, as with most weapons, great till the enemy has it as well.

  6. As far as having adequate tools and firepower to deal with “Mohammed”, we have had that for decades. What we lack are the stones and will to actually use them. Having more weapons that we will not fully use (because flat-out winning is just so, you know, unfair) will not deal with ISIS, A-Q, or whatever the next manifestation of the same ideology chooses to call itself.
We have been de-knackered by our own media and self-proclaimed “intelligentsia”.

  8. If I ever hit the loto jackpot I want to load a few of these up in my .30 Lapua and reach out and touch that 1500yrd target.

  9. Not impressed….I will wait for the phaser II…..about as possible and practicable.
This things has a coupla flaws…
    1) not fully developed or reliable…
    2) not competitive, price wise, with a Hellfire from a drone or helo….
Remember, during WW2, anti-sniper SOP was medium artillery or an airstrike…

    Indeed!

  11. Mohamed is the most popular name in England and in Oslo ( I would post links but the filter may block me again )
what is the use of killing Muslims over there while we are being replaced by Muslims here at home?

  12. About that Tesla home battery
it costs at least $3000 US, does not come with a DC to AC converter and in the best conditions may power a regular home for 3 hours a day
If you do not have wind or solar you have to use electricity from the wall to recharge this battery, thus you will have to pay for that electricity that will be stored temporarily.
I wonder how many years ( or decades) it takes for it to “pay for itself”?
And how long it lasts; all rechargeables eventually die

  13. What makes you lot think that this sophisticated weapon system won’t end up in the hands of the enemy just as every other weapon system the Obama has handed out has ended up?

  14. Obama will make sure the Muslim terrorists have these weapons – just to keep things fair and even, ya know?……………
