Oh…Shiny Pony.

Not even the best of polishers can make this out to be a good thing for Justin.

“The party no longer shares my values,” Adams said. “In the Conservative Party, it really has been the politics of division.”
Adams would not have been able to run for the Conservatives this fall after running afoul of party rules in a nomination fight in Oakville, Ontario.

You may remember that Dimitre Soudas was tossed from the party for interfering in a nomination battle? Guess whose?
Back story from Wente, last year.

  1. Good riddance for the Conservatives….a win for the PM. Trudeau will now be obliged to again go against his vow not to and choose his candidate for the riding she’ll be seeking.

  2. For the Libs, subtraction by addition. Adding toxic floor-crossers? Have they learned nothing from embracing Garth Turner?

  3. Every day confirms that the politicians are a low life.
This would be the arbitrary initial position.
    Now you, politician prove otherwise.
Quoting motherhood and apple pie and the children and the aged and the weak and the victimhood of practically the whole population of the country except the low down pink male does not count.

  4. After reading the Wente article from a year ago it seems Eve Adams is a Helena Guergis clone. A perfect match for the Liberal Party. Good riddance I would say.

  5. “The party no longer shares my values,” Adams said.
Hmmm. And those values are exactly what?

  6. Stronach, Geurgis and now Eve Adams. I think Bob Runciman’s quote regarding Belinda back when she crossed the floor also sums up Eve Adams quite nicely… “I think she sort of defined herself as something of a dipstick -an attractive one, but still a dipstick.”

  7. Eve’s parents fled dictatorships for a better life in Canada.
Like Freeland before her she’s abandoned her core beliefs and her ancestors suffering to become a Bozette for personal gain and worship at the feet of a dictator loving Progressive 1% hypoctite.
    Her folks must be proud.

  8. Just looking at her, she looks like a nasty cheap whore. How did she end up with a riding nomination? Is there no vetting process in the CPC? A simple STD check would have definitely ruled her out.
Good riddance to bad garbage. The problem is now how much confidential CPC information has Soudas given her which she will relay to Shiny Pony?

  9. “When you point a finger at the moon to indicate the moon, instead of looking at the moon, the stupid ones look at your finger”- Mao Tse-tung
Lorne look past the finger to where the problem is. Her words encapsulated the problem that Reform Conservatives try to ignore and Progressive Conservatives can ignore no longer. Its not the party that is the problem its the one man band that owns it for the proxy of the powerful, who are not you. But as you are divided you grasp to some small morsel of inclusion.

There. Fixed it for you. 😀

  11. Even Bob Fife on CTV couldn’t paint this as anything but platant political opportunism. When not even the liberal friendly Ottawa media will justify or support you, you might be in trouble. The Toronto talking head couldn’t get off of Bob’s report fast enough, they expected him to praise her move and were dumbfounded when he didn’t.

  12. So to get this straight, is she going to be the(a) Liberal candidate or does she have to run in the nominations? Is The Shiny One going to shaft his party again by simply appointing her?

  13. Don’t count her out just yet. This is the province that elected a serial liar three times and his ever-faithful Sgt Schultz once.

  14. Good advice.
If there were ever bullies in Canadian politics it was First Secretary P. Trudeau and the little brown bag crook from, well you know where.
From one of the comments by Kevin in the Sun article,”Well, Trudeau is no longer the prettiest woman in the liberal party.” That is it.
Well at least she could read the talking points the Liberals wrote out for her.

  15. Why is it that attractive blonds leave the CPC to join the Liberals? Are the jokes true?
Stronach,Guergis,Adams, the CPC is better off without them.

  16. As I heard somewhere this morning “Her departure brings up the average IQ of the Conservative caucus. Oddly enough, going over to the Liberal caucus does the same for them.”

  17. Great – consolidate all the political skanks and corrupt fixers in one party. The LPC is the party of Deceipt, fraud, malfeasance and banana state political fixing – welcome to Cuba with snow – Right Justin?

  18. What does it say about the CPC when Adams was their MP in the beginning?
The only reason this version of the CPC endures is residual goodwill in the West towards PM Harper. Leadership of the party is assumed by Westerners to reside with those who have core Reform beliefs. I might suggest that political opportunism exists in all parties and it exists in the CPC. It exists across the country and MP’s from the west are not all CPC stalwarts. Since the ‘progressive’ faction dominates in the east the risk of fraction always lurks.
Westerners do not, nor should they, trust the motives of easterners. Turdeau’s cynical call for a ‘carbon’ tax in Calgary last week is generally well received across the political spectrum in the East. Many eastern CPC feel the same way. The economic interests of east vs west do not mesh.
I suspect the unity of the CPC will only last as long as Harper is in power. To an extent I blame Harper as the top down party that caused Reform originally has reasserted itself. IMHO the CPC has gutted their riding associations and have absolutely failed to establish a dialogue with party members and the public as a whole. The opportunity to educate Canadians about the real issues facing Canada has not been done. A CPC election loss will be a loss of that opportunity. Marketing cannot trump philosophical understanding and commitment.

  19. When I saw this news I thought…”Isn’t her name Helen?”
Thought it was the same on-going drama fest that Ms. Guergis was part of.
I love the line @ the IQ’s going up in CPC caucus with her leaving and down in LPC with her arrival.
Based on what I have read…”She ain’t pretty, she just looks that way.”

  20. That’s a great post.
On the Wells commentary, I’d only ask two questions:
    – Isn’t Justin supposed to be, you know, the “part-time drama teacher”? I’m guessing, of course, but I would have thought that, if he was, he would have had some familiarity with the, um, “dramatic” roles to which he makes reference. But, then again, film isn’t drama, is it, even at a university level…? I have no idea: I spent all my time on mundane subjects like business, economics, history and politics.
    and,
    – “Has anyone ever heard Justin sing?” I shared the Abacus Research polling, last week, with both my wife and my sister, independently, and that was their respective response.

  21. Belinda ver 3.0
This is the candidate that finds the party led by a frat boy attractive….
There seems to be a narrative developing.
    Ladies night…
    balancing babies….
    phallic references….
statements made about astrophysics that can only be understood if one is under the influence of a narcotic. ..
admiration of a communist dictatorship based on a falicy of green utopian revisionism….
Yep, she’ll fit right in….for about a week when she finds out about the party directive that no one in caucus can be prettier than the leader

  22. good lookin, hell yah. You can take her out and parade her around, but can you let her speak.
Any way, the NDP must be relieved, now maybe their female MPs will get a break from those married lieberl MPs.

  23. Wells’ commentary was reminiscent of the classic CBC public service announcements describing Canadian wildlife.
Methinks she’s actually a somewhat common (albeit very attractive) double breasted mattress thrasher in disguise.

  24. Justin may be just a ‘substitute drama teacher’ but he didn’t engineer this. My question: Does Eve come with Dimitri? Dimitri knows where some of the skeletons are buried. Me thinks the Liberals would be happy to court Eve to get at those skeletons.
My apologies if Dimitri and Eve are no longer coming together. I never had much patience for soap operas.

  25. Watching the press announcement where J.T. made an appearance with his newest acquisition reminded me of the sold-out Judy and Gordon show that played 21 years ago here on the west coast. They seemed very taken with one another. Same vacuous chuckle-headed views on “values.”

  26. She is well known (and MUCH-loathed) in the western suburbs of Toronto, where she started her political career as a Councillor in Mississauga. Everybody back then was certain she was a Liberal – she is still hated there, and will lose if she runs there … she’ll have to run somewhere that has NO internet access to get elected! It was said back in those days that she married a guy named Adams so HER name would appear first on local ballots! She is currently being scorched by Toronto talk radio – it’s a joy to behold! The widely shared view by those who know her and had to “work with her” on Mississauga Council is that she has the same epic level of NARCISSISM issues as Justin. They’re made for each other!

  27. Better to be a mean spirited leader, that is a leader, than a stupid spirited follower. Can Canadians just imagine for one moment if the pathetic liberal cheerleading media ever managed to get the preening to sexy for my shirt boy elected, imagine his first meeting with Putin, a man that stole Robert Krafts superbowl ring, nasty Vlad would slap the lispers face kiss his tummy and he would run out of the room screaming for mommy. The little part time drama teacher just needed some eye candy for the liberals, Ontarios premier is stealing it all presently. Chortle.

  28. So the Libranos get a 7 day’s news cycle for their new piece of arm candy.
By next Monday everyone will have forgotten this black-rooted Miss Clairol and Justin will have become bored of her, returning once again, to winking at himself in the hallway mirror.

  29. Hey Cum;
You guessed it right. It appears Dimitri does still cum with Eve.
    https://twitter.com/jasonfekete/status/564884765069701121
This may be a crass move by Justin but I’m sure Dimitri negotiated his way into the fold with some select memos. In politics you never know when your friends will become your enemies.
This 2for will have both long and shapely legs. And the smell between them will be legendary. Now I’m reminded why so many decent people can’t stand the cut and thrust of politics.
So much rot comes from the Montreal — Toronto corridor.
    Sigh!!!

  31. Paul,
You misread the quote, it says that the. Liberal IQ goes up too.
This about it for a second, you will get the drift.
    An excellent characterization.

  32. No she does not look like a whore. I don’t like her antics, but she looks like a normal attractive woman. Poor Dimitri though. He does seem to have screwed up.

  33. This reminds me of Chretien getting those submarines from the Brits and trying to pass it off as a great deal for Canada.
The Brits had something that was useless to all and found a Quebec politician to pony up big bucks to take their troubles away.

  34. The local ctv newscast used the opportunity to attack harper by running her talking point about harper being a bully and mean spirited. As for Dimitre, I met him once and I’m not worried.

  35. “The party no longer shares my values,” Adams said.
How many days after she found herself without a seat at the trough did this revelation come to her?
Aside from being in favour of the unfettered choice to have an unfettered abortion that Harper has insisted on leaving out of the political realm and discourse, what other values of the Spawn did she share? Patronage, Nepotism, pretty hair, vacuous intellect,…… etc?

  36. Ah, LindaL, Ms Adams may look like a normal attractive woman now, but there is a long history of cosmetic medical intervention to get her to this point. Unfortunately, there is no surgery that can improve either her mind or her morals.

  37. She’s just selling herself to the highest bidder after her sugar daddy no longer wants her. After watching Cal’s posting at 5:38 PM I see a lot of ugly under that makeup as well as personality. Since Justin loves drama, he may have more in her than he expects.

  38. “welcoming and inclusive vision of Canada” presented by Mr. Trudeau and the Liberals.
I’m so sick of reading crap like this. WTF does “welcoming” and “inclusive” mean anyway? These mindless words and phrases bring new meaning to the word “platitude” and, while conveying warm and fuzzy sentiments, mean absolutely nothing.
As for Stephen Harper being a meanie and a bully, why doesn’t anyone ever offer examples of this behaviour? It appears that the fools throwing these accusations around are confusing strong leadership with mean-spiritedness. An easy mistake to make if one is a complete idiot.
