Oh…Shiny Pony.

Not even the best of polishers can make this out to be a good thing for Justin.

“The party no longer shares my values,” Adams said. “In the Conservative Party, it really has been the politics of division.”
Adams would not have been able to run for the Conservatives this fall after running afoul of party rules in a nomination fight in Oakville, Ontario.

You may remember that Dimitre Soudas was tossed from the party for interfering in a nomination battle? Guess whose?
Back story from Wente, last year.

  1. …reminded me of the sold-out Judy and Gordon show that played 21 years ago here on the west coast.
    Bingo!
The difference being that those two were too liberal for Liberals.

  2. They r mad about the majority in parliament. “It’s not fair” remember?
They forget pmsh led Canada’s longest minority government. That is the definition of cooperation and bipartisanship.

  3. Eve is going to find out what mean spirited really is. Jr. will use her (if she has any redeming value) and toss her under the bus when it suits him. She will be poison in the LPC much like the Wild Rose floor crossers in AB are at the riding association level.
She will be ‘disappeared’ by the libs as will Dimitri.

  4. Just waiting for the other shoe to drop… Wherever she decides to run, chances are they already have someone lined up. She either gets parachuted in by Maggie’s kid (causing the local favourite for nominee to get nose out of joint), or gets ‘beaten” in a nomination meeting because the local has all the local support.

  5. Liberal Caucus Goes From Elation To Dejection.
“Trudeau said he discussed the possibility of a hypothetical Tory floor crosser with his caucus last week, without identifying Adams.”
In Trudeau’s remarks to caucus last week of a “Tory floor crosser” and how Liberals should do it with open arms, was done in a context, and at a time when John Baird had just a few days earlier said he was leaving the Tory caucus. It had Liberal MP’s, eager in anticipation of an upcoming announcement and press conference.
Can you imagine the disappointment and disgust when they saw the face of Eve Adams instead.
Is there any truth to rumor that Liberal MP’s will have to leave their shoes outside the caucus room, at next Liberal caucus meeting, to afford protection for Trudeau?

  6. Eve Adams crosses the floor due to principles. Unfortunately for her, it’s Harper’s principles.

  7. Remember their ‘identical brains’? (Their Birthdays are on the same date.) I think they have a home in Powell River now.

  8. I see nothing but positives for the CPC in this. Foremost being that MP’s can see themselves as actually standing for something.

  9. Can you imagine the ‘bitch’ factor in this? Imagine adams in the same room as some of those liberal wimmin….chrystia freedland???? I’d pay money to be a fly on the wall. Hahahaha.
