It’s way past time when we all realized there is no “news” in the MSM “news cycle”. All the MSM propagates in this post democratic era is a narrative. This is a self serving narrative which filters, concocts and shapes information to corroborate the official political agenda of the moment. Dowd et al are first and foremost the housemaids of the power structure – second to that priority they indulge in petty private manipulations of the public. This is why they become Journos – they fancy themselves as part of the power structure (as corrupt as it is) and the payoff for faithfully lying for politicians (journo’s incentive) are the perks of MSM prestiege – like post career federal sinecure or an upscale retirement insulated from the social-economic-political morass they pimped in their working MSM career.
In between this flood of corroborative narrative we get individual` journo-lists pimping their own crusades and self serving agendas. It seems like the definition of masochism to actually pay for this intellectual abuse.
In an era when the 4th estate has abandoned its roll as public watchdog, the main victim is the truth and social/political reality – look elsewhere if this is what you want. If you want a surreal self-deceiving interpretation of reality then by all means subject your mind to a daily MSM lobotomy. Perhaps this is why there is a special zombie-like look in the eyes of those who rely on the MSM for their information.
It should be noted that the KKK was founded by DEMACRATS while the GOP was formed as anti-slavery and unless we forget that the late Robert Byrd was a Grand Exhualted Poo Poo Head in the KKK
