If the information from the link is accurate, (from what I can find the Ruth & Henry Goodman…Fund is based out of Vancouver, not Toronto; it was established by their son Michael Goodman, CEO of Tri City Group) perhaps Albertans should be targeting Tri City’s two property developments in the Edmonton area in retaliation for attempting to economically damage their province through restricting their access to markets.
That one development in particular looks to be located perilously close to what must be most certainly an environmentally sensitive lake…

You’re right, Suzuki is actually quite clever. He grew up hating “White Canada” for what it did by interning his family during ww2 and stripping them of all their savings. He’s managed an excellent job of revenge. I can’t agree with what he’s done, but I can admire how well he’s pulled it off.

What really ticks me is these people were arrested, not charged and let go. They should all have a criminal record.

Why does our embassy in Washington get the US DOJ on the case? Oh, wait, that ain’t gonna happen with the current socialists in control of the USA.

I have a solution, if the Federal Government will nut up and apply it. Simply have Revenue Canada declare that any individual, pressure group, NGO, or whatever, that engages in political action, “consciousness raising” or demonstrations file a tax return that shows the amount and source of all donations received. Any group that receives more than 5% of their income from outside the country would, along with each member, be required to go to External Affairs and register as a foreign agent. They then be given a large “foreign agent” card on a neck ribbon, which they would be required to wear at all demonstrations, and when being interviewed by the media. Failure to do so would make them guilty of being a “covert foreign agent”, a crime punishable by not less than 90 days in jail, right on up to life in prison for certain instances.
Of course people admire Bonnie and Clyde, Capone, and Dillinger too. Suzuki worship is a religion among Canadian Lieberals. They’ll fly thousands of miles and spew all sorts of GHGs just to see him preach. “Do as we say, not as we do.”
Here we see how the stupid are easily manipulated. Tell them what they want to hear. It’s not their fault their nothing but a bunch of stinking hippies, it’s someone else’s. If your neighbour works hard and has something of value he should be forced to hand it over to you; shouldn’t matter if you just sit on your A$$.

gordinkneehill or Robert of Ottawa have the best suggestions. Money is the lubricant that drives all of these groups and individuals and the great majority of this comes from off shore. Cut off the head using whatever means it takes and the green movement in Canada will quickly become a bunch of walking dead bumping into each other in their desire to destroy the rest of us.
What confidence should I have in Canada’s direction?
We have a governing CPC which takes little or no action to stop foreign interests from subverting Canadian economic interests. The same government who bad mouth Canadian business for ‘charging to much’ as compared to USA businesses. I thought their grasp of fundamental economics would be better.
Instead of raising serious questions about the direction of the country and how to achieve success they dwell on criticizing a neophyte like Turdeau Jr. At best the CPC might manage a minority government in 2015.
