Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

JOOOOOOOOS!
We can only hope so and that they wash and repeat until the whole area is a parking lot.
Doing the job that the rest of the world won’t.
Some entity(ies) have very precise drone and/or satellite images of an explosion/fire that one can see/hear from 15 kilometers away.
If it blew out windows 10 miles away it must have been more than just a fire killing 2 people.
http://freebeacon.com/national-security/explosion-at-iran-nuke-site-kills-two-iran-says/
The original gun type Uranium A-Bomb used a lot of explosives to make the bomb go boom.
There’s Iranian official news and then there is the truth, one is but a shadow of the other.
There will be many bodies buried in the desert which can only be found with a Geiger counter.
Parchin has been labelled a nuclear facility, but in fact all of its work is connected with missile development. It’s the site of Iran’s missile engine test stand. Rocket fuel, needless to say, is highly volatile stuff.
Actually, the explosive in Little Boy was only 8 pounds of cordite, a common smokeless powder. The ‘gun’ that contained the two U235 pieces weighed over 2-1/2 tons.
Jewish lightning (which strikes out of a cloudless sky) or muslim incompetence? I’m sure the IAF will get blamed for it because whenever Allah’s will is thwarted a Jew is to blame.
I hope so, and hope that it is only the first of many:-)
Kablooui … although it sounds like a conventional explosives factory explosion.
Exactly.
This appears to be good news.
The largest chemical blast in US history was the PEPCON blast in 1988. That was a rocket fuel factory (ammonium perchlorate) with a natural gas line running underneath. The blast was recorded on video from three miles away, and although huge (measuring over 3 on the Richter scale), it wasn’t enough to break glass at that distance. The Iranian blast broke windows 12 km away, over twice as far as the camera was from PEPCON.
There are only two plausible explanations: either a nuclear blast, or an undiscovered volcano that just happened to be under the nuclear installation blew its top.
When I was kid in Iran my farsi teacher. Gave us title of ” knowlege and science is better than money and wealth” and ask us to write a page the difference between these two, I went to my father asked him his opinion. He told for sure knowldge is better than money because some one can rub or you can loose your money if you are not smart but nobody can steal what you learn or. Steal your brain or your mind. So my father did not live long to see what happened in iran after Iranian reeevolution and all his educated children where their life end but we can see how many come just steal brain of nuclear reactor usa and rusia have I too and kill scientist for sake of money and power. Ok isis kill innocent but nobody know who are those people they are not brave to show their face. But we know who are dieing before we know our enemy name like sadam now we do not kknow who we fighting and where that bomb fly to who or where and who is dieing while isis are dangerous group killing with bomb can kill innocent and not justify how come after years usa. Sold weapon to isis not know where those people live or who are tbose to arrest them such a bs war just destroy country and affect poor contry
A quick look at the seismic map shows no events over 4 on the Richter scale in Iran. The PEPCON blasts ranged from 3.0 to 3.5 on the Richter scale.
One thing’s for sure. Barack Ebola had nothing to do with this.
It wasn’t a nuclear blast in all likelihood. Read my post above.
about time……..
cgh, if it was a chemical explosion, then it is the biggest chemical explosion in history. The PEPCON blast was a rocket fuel plant located on top of a natural gas line. The furthest any damage was recorded from that blast was 10 km. The Iranian blast was breaking windows 12 km away. That makes the Iranian blast at least 40% bigger than PEPCON. The PEPCON blast was even bigger than Challenger, more like a space shuttle blowing up on the pad. The rockets Iran has managed to ge to orbt are relatively tiny in comparison, so unless Iran was stockpiling fuel for thousands of rocket launches, I gotta go with Occam’s razor.
Great youtube Video of the pepcon explosion. Watch the shock wave
… in collaboration with the saucer people and the Stone Cutters.
I’m sure the Empty-Suit in the White House will be paying close attention to this.
He will not know about this until he reads it in the papers tomorrow morning.
Actually, when ya really think about it, Russia (or China) with it’s restive muslim citizens and former citizens, really shouldn’t want islamo-nazi’s running about with nukes.
Russia has the delivery systems, security climate and general nuclear know-how to nuke the Iranians and make it look like an Iranian “whoops” or frame Isreal.
Here’s the facility on Google Maps:

According to the New York Times, all the trees in the villages of Changi and Hamamak burned.
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/07/world/middleeast/two-in-tehran-are-missing-after-explosion-near-military-complex.html?_r=0
Changi and Hamamak are several kilometers apart; Changi itself is a kilometer from Parchin. in order to ignite all the trees over such a wide area, the temperature a kilometer away from the blast had to be several hundred degrees.
The only natural events that can do this are a volcano or an asteroid impact. If this was chemical, then it is by far the largest chemical explosion in history.
All this at a plant where they are suspected of testing nuclear weapon triggers using depleted Uranium. Kinda reminds me of Steve Smith on April 30th, 1986.
That level of explosion and only 2 killed, I doubt it, more likely they’ve borrowed Obama’s people counter to tally up the dead.
It’s not nuclear. Had it been, radiation alarms would have gone off in lots of nuclear facilities within half a dozen nations within hours of the blast.
The Port Chicago explosion in 1944 and the Texas City explosion in 1947 were both much larger. The first was two ammunition ships exploding, and the second was a freighter loaded with 2300 tonnes of fertilizer. In the case of Port Chicago, it leveled buildings within miles and broke windows up to 20 miles away.
Both of these were exceeded by the Halifax ammunition ship blast in 1917. So your statement about PEPCON being the largest chemical explosion in history is simply wrong.
You know, cgh, you’re right. Having taken a closer look at the facility, there’s enough chemical explosive stored there that a chain reaction of chemical explosives is possible. And you are of course correct about Texas City and Halifax.
Note to all politicians out there. The above is how one admits being wrong.
Thanks Ed. Gracefully done. What’s interesting about Texas City was that it wasn’t ammunition but might as well have been. It was 1947, and Europe was starving to death. The victorious allies were desperate to move as much fertilizer into Europe as rapidly as possible. And of course, when things are done in excessive haste, bad things happen.
