   His position has evolved over the years, mostly by redefining what a civilian is. Quite simply, a civilian is now someone who was not killed in a bombing raid. The ones who are killed are terrorists.

10. I read somewhere earlier today that the U.S. Navy launched 47 Tomahawk cruise missiles in the last 24 hours. Since Cap’n WaffleSnarfer cut the U.S. military budget last year and acquisitions for Tomahawks to 100 per year, he’ll run out of the annual allotment in another day or two at that rate.

11. It is silly to be flying 1.5 million dollar cruise missiles at the goatherders of IS.
    AC-130s and good old 500 pound dumb bombs will atrit them fairly quickly and much more cheaply.

    Five Middle Eastern nations are part of the coalition(in their usual token way). Turkey is noticeably not one of them even though they have a long border with the affected areas. No wonder, it seems they were allowing ISIS to ship the oil through Turkey. BOMB Turkey! Cook its goose!

    Once ISIS is done doing the dirty work, the second largest military in NATO will take action and show its true colours. Turkey needs to be taught a lesson the only way muslims have ever, historically, been taught lessons.

18. I have a hard time understanding Canadians blatant ignorance of counter intelligence tactics.
    #1. Destroy Libya and hand over their armaments to Al Qaeda (A US military invention).
    #2. Demonize Syrian Leader Assad; arm the poor little Ewok Rebels.
    #3. Pull out of Iraq, so that ISIS can rule the country, most of whom were former Ewoks. (Who then further arm themselves with captured US equipment and weaponry).
    #4. Allow ISIS to butcher their way across the Middle East, and declare “from the Whitehouse” that they are now ISIL, legitimizing their claim to the Levant, aka Israel.
    #5. WH now declares war on ISIL, including bombing ISIL in Syria, with threats to Syria that if they interfere in the bombing of their country in order to save them – Obamba will have to kill them.
    It’s funny that several ISIL leaders have been identified as “American”.
    Do you seriously think this is to Canadians and American’s advantage while Obamba opens his borders to millions of illegal immigrants/ potentially Third World terrorists, while setting up a police state across the nation??

19. Can’t believe that Obozo’s unconstitutional move has been allowed to go ahead. Only congress can declare war and this was a unilateral move by Obozo with ramifications which are potentially huge.
    Obozo pontificates about the “inviolable” borders of Ukraine and threatens Russia with ever increasing sanctions for violating those borders. Presumably Syrian and Libyan borders are just as inviolable to the rational mind, but not to the monkey with a hand grenade currently occupying the WH. Syria is Russia’s Mediterranean port and Syria also happens to be a secular state unlike the totalitarian psychotic theorcracies like the “allies” of the US in this imbecilic adventure.
    The goal of this enterprise is likely to get the Qatar gas pipeline to Europe which is something that would really piss off the Russians given that it would undermine Gazprom’s market share. Even if the Syrian part of the Qatar gas pipeline was allowed to go ahead as a result of US and “allied” victories, it wouldn’t be ready by winter. All Russia has to do is to totally turn off gas supplies to Europe and redirect the supplies to China which won’t need to import gas from other sources. The Euroweenies freeze in the cold and likely the EU will be a bad memory by springtime as the survivors of the brutal winter cut down the hanging frozen corpses of the EU beaurocrats before they begin to rot in the spring. Europe is one of the primary adherents of CAGW and it will be interesting to see how well “renewable” power functions during a period of global cooling.
    While Russia likely doesn’t want to be saddled with a bankrupt Ukraine, the US flouting of “inviolable” borders will likely result in greatly increased use of Russian troops in E. Ukraine. Coincidentally, this is a major coal mining area and coal supplies are already short in Ukraine and that’s before the winter.
    Wasting cruise missiles on goat herders seems to be a Dumbocrat way of diverting attention from domestic problems. Let the Saudi’s and other ignorant islamofascists send troops to deal with ISIS although I suspect they’d do no better than the Iraqi army has done. The Russians are far more capable of dealing with such issues and, should ISIS become a major annoyance in Syria, look for some direct Russian assistance to make the surviving ISIS fighters very sorry they decided to overextend themselves.
    The best solution to this problem is to impeach the TOTUS, and failing that, a takeover of the traiterous US government by patriots if the US is to survive the year. When an incompetent narcissistic affirmative action checkers player goes up against a skilled chess player like Putin who got to his position because of ability and ruthlessness, one only hopes that SAC members know an illegal order when they get one and refuse to obey it.

    As you suggest there is more going on than what the press is reporting. One is to believe that ISIS is raising $6 mil per day by robbing ‘goat herders’. The Saudis started a lot of this crap with their dollars. I don’t want a Canadian soldier there at all unless significant Arab ‘boots are on the ground’ as well. Even then I am less than lukewarm.
