    Amar must indeed be out of touch to still believe America will guarantee anything and have that really mean something. Really, did American guarantees ever mean anything? Look at the Treaty of Versailles, look at Viet Nam, look at Ukraine, look at Iraq.
    It’s best for the world to find it’s own gravity and not look to America for anything.

  3. Exactly, especially so during this president’s term.
    That said I wish Morocco well in combating the communists.
    No where does the article say anything about how the economic improvements took place. The photos show a nice clean West African city

    More likely that the north side of the Mediterranean will become similar to North Africa. Mr. Totten is an optimistic soul.

  5. No link but it is in the general knowledge that the Western Sahara is the biggest producer of phosphate in the world….strategic like Saskatchewan’s Potash.
    Florida is a large phosphate producer as well.
    Phosphate is not just fertilizer….it’s the soda in soda pop.
