Have y’all heard of the Bundy Ranch standoff in Nevada? Shit just got real. Facebook is blocking the posting of links to this video.
If you have a FB account, consider attempting to post the link from YouTube and see for yourselves what happens. After you are told that it is blocked, there is a link to click if you think it was blocked in error. Wouldn’t it be interesting if FB got an SDAvalanche of attempts and complaints about the censorship?
These folks make me proud to be American.


All is not well in Canada either.
Because of the Internet, Americans went to the defense of the Bundy’s and links to Harry Reid and green corruption have come to light.
Another case where the rancher is not going quietly. A family in new Mexico is also standing up against the Federal Gov’t.

    And I would be shocked if these were still airworthy. BLM used to fly Broncos but retired them about a decade ago. Don’t know if BATF had any but I doubt they would still be operational. Which is not say that they did not have heavier air support on call, just doubt these were Broncos.

    Note that it has nothing to do with who owns or operates the aircraft.

    So far he appears to be as well versed as mediots routinely screeching about “assault weapons” and “high capacity clips”.

  12. Not to be too pedantic, but all the original AR-15’s were select fire weapons. In fact I have fired one such variant that was ex New Zealand army issue and was once the property of, I believe, the Malaysian military.
    They are around, produced between 1959 and the early 60’s, including some XM-16’s that I have seen that are doubled stamped.

    If circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people while there is a large body of citizens, little, if at all, inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow-citizens. This appears to me the only substitute that can be devised for a standing army, and the best possible security against it, if it should exist.
    In an essay published in the Wall Street Journal last August, Radley Balko presented chilling and convincing evidence of the blurring of the line between cop and soldier:
    Driven by martial rhetoric and the availability of military-style equipment — from bayonets and M-16 rifles to armored personnel carriers — American police forces have often adopted a mind-set previously reserved for the battlefield.   14. Yes, and I’ve personally been inside of both a REALLY airworthy B-24 AND a B-17 bomber which, between them, helped to destroy Hitler’s Germany. Neither of them was in any way owned by the US gov’t. Cost a bit for me even to get on board.Good ol’ American Free Enterprise system at work. Just because something looks warlike, doesn’t mean it’s part of a gov’t. plot to kill American dissident patriots. Sorry, but save your visions of martyred glory for another time, when it might really be needed.

    Just because most Police departments….Canada and the US chose the AR15 (semi-auto) as the designated “patrol rifle does not mean that fully auto stuff is denied police.
    The intent is perhaps to limit collateral damage.
    In fact the same goes for armed aircraft…..If I recall the LA sheriff’s department had a fully armed P51 Mustang (now an obsolete jet) to interdict airborne drug smugglers or aerial getaways……situations where an air-to-air capability is appropriate.

    That was not a mass attack on a military base directed at soldiers.
    My point was that Obama lacks an American’s common decency, given that he may be the only person that can give a “Shot to Kill” order to snipers. I would hope he is the only person authorized
    Snipers shot to kill and they must have a lawful order to engage. IMHO if they didn’t have a lawful “Shot to Kill” order they were committing a crime. Harry Reid said “Its not Over” is that a threat that he has the authority to start a blood bath.
    The MSM (CNN/MSNBC) claim this is about past due fee/Tax/ collection issues. The Obama Collection Agencies use Snipers.

    If you google “BATF Bronco” you will discover that BATF acquired a fleet of 20+ Bronco aircraft in the 1990’s, and that those same aircraft are still in the possession of the State Department. They are being refurbished and are still flying. State is apparently using them as spray aircraft in South America, just not telling anybody about it. You don’t need to take the guns off for spraying, they are in pods mounted on the bottom of the fuselage.
    I’ll just point out that the Canadian Air Force is flying older and crappier aircraft than the OV-10 every day, and nobody thinks anything of it. Tudor trainer being the one that springs forcibly to mind, they can’t even buy parts for those things anymore and the Snowbirds still fly them.
    The “light tanks” being talked about are MRAP armored trucks. Homeland Security bought 2700 of them, MANY others are being distributed to police forces all over the USA. They are armored against small arms, mines and IEDs, some have light machine gun turrets on top, some don’t. There was one from the Las Vegas PD present in a video of the Bundy standoff.
    I see Vern at April 15th 2014 11:03 says Officer Goatbeard in the video has been identified as a veteran Green Beret. You should now be asking yourself why the Bureau of Land Management is employing a former SpecOps @ss kicker to collect cattle, and kitting him out like he was back in the ‘Stan fighting the Taliban. The answer is not a happy one.

  25. So BATF still flies Broncos, ok my bad. Thought they retired them long time ago. My guess would be they flew Tucanos or something similar by now.
    I know what those “light armored tanks” are supposed to be. What I object to is hysterical exaggerations. The militarization of police services is a serious issue without paranoid rants about black helicopters and “light armored tanks”.
    Police departments often employed specialized armored vehicles, my guess is that MRAPs replaced a lot of older gear. I recall seeing an M8 sans turret in the hands of one agency maybe a decade ago.
    As for the former Green Berret now playing a JBT, nothing new about it. Retired military has been going to police for decades.
    Again, the point is not that I think militarization of police services is trivial. It is most certainly not. The proliferation of no knock warrants in US, the routine heavy handed aggressive assaults (because the goon gets to go home after that), the routine bullshit charges of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest when a shocked individual does not react in a split of a second in exactly the way a squad of JBTs want him to do are all serious problems. No the need to get paranoid about tanks and a choice of eye wear of some JBT.

Phantom, to reiterate on my earlier point, the problem is with rules of engagement, lack of accountability, unwarranted aggression, union protection etc. It is with the mentality of “us against the civilians”, oh how I love when they are different than the “civilians”, with cops routinely playing the system and perjuring themselves in courts, with them covering for one another regardless of how much harm they inflict on their victims. It is with them justifying to themselves any abuse they inflict upon their victims, the contempt they have for individual rights. The fun they have while slaughtering your dog in front of your kids. I could go on but … I am certain all here read the “The Rise of the Praetorian Class” essay – no need to elaborate further.
    The problem however is not with the toys they get or their grooming standards. These are mere symptoms. Nazis were well groomed, had spiffy uniforms and maintained a high standard of personal hygiene. Had the Green Beret turn JBT that looks like a bouncer at a biker bar, been blond, blue eyed and clean shaven would you feel any better?
