What pray tell is “austere” about doubling the US national debt in less than two terms in office? At some point, sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice.
So by the end of his term the “Obama-Nation(tm)” will have added 10 Trillion to the debt; more than all congresses combined back to 1776.
Gee if that is austerity, one can only imagine if the government were a spendthrift!

If you believe in free markets you let the business owners decide who they serve or don’t serve. The market will decide whether they are a successful business or not.
Gay business owners would also have the right to serve or supply whomever they choose, right?
A smart business owner opens his doors to a wide market; otherwise he may suffer sanctions by the larger community or support services that don’t agree with his business practices.
It’s simply common sense.
