  6. Thanks for the link with the sage advice EBD. The reason Braithbart was so effective was that he had been a left wing insider. Conservative people must get their heads around the convoluted game playing of the left if we are to keep our nations free. The left have tunnel vision so it is relatively easy to trap them but once trapped the ‘coup de grace’ must be followed through or the victory is lost and the zealot goes away with his dignity intact. Most people I know feel revolted when they think of forcing another person to crawl on all fours …but the left wing zealots don’t!
    Fight fire with fire.

  26. Further to the U. of Alberta’s cutting 20 left-liberal arts programs:
    Last week Ontario announced that it will halve the number of people admitted to teacher’s colleges in 2015. The province also added another year to the program. That means most new teachers in Canada will have four-year bachelor’s degrees and two-year bachelor of education (B.Ed.) degrees, for a total of six years. Some will also have master’s degrees and a few will have PhDs.

    This really stinks. Teachers colleges will half enrollment numbers but will require twice the time for students to get a B.Ed. (As one who has a B.Ed. I can guarantee that students will not learn twice as much in a two-year program. What’s two times learning nothing (in one year)? Uh huh.)
    The only people who benefit from the new policy are, natch, teachers’ colleges and their faculty members.
