What’s The Opposite Of Diversity?

University…

A professor at the University of Southern California (USC) appears to have used a fall semester 2012 political science class to deliver sustained and angered attacks on Republicans, who he characterized as old, white, racist, and “losers.”
In a 15 min. video secretly captured by USC student Tyler Talgo, political science Professor Darry Sragow also appears to endorse the illegal suppression of Republican votes.
“You lose their information on the election in the mail,” he suggested when a student asked him how to keep Republicans from voting. “I mean there is lots of ways to do it [SIC].”

  1. Obviously this personal opinion screed is what passes for Poli-Sci these days. We note the numerous historical an factual inaccuracies and the total echo chamber where no dissenting opinion or factual correction is verboten.
A prime example of the smug sinecure pseudo academic parasites who are both robbing the education system as well as degenerating it to the level of a mind washing exercise. This all started when colleges started running graduate coursed in junk studies and “sciences” which involve more dogmatism and opinion than science.
The best way to combat this is boycott this type of substandard “learning?” by publicly subsidizing only core subjects/degrees which are in demand, you want a poli-sci mind washing, you pay for it yourself.

  2. This is why the Republican party does not need to continue the steady slide to Democratic themes. The outreach of the internet will reach sufficient voters who do prove their identity. Even the gangsters normally have driver’s licenses and the urban people who do not need driver’s licenses will surely have a medical identity card, hopefully with a picture.
This is simply a stage in the evolution of American Society. I feel confident the impact of communication increases will make a difference.
My concern lies more with Canada where there a newspaper provided balanced political reporting. In my opinion the strength of the editorial comments and op/ed articles were made by writers who consistently maintained their integrity. If the articles or editorials did show their political leanings this was declared. Their reputation sufifcient to resist the editorial board’s new political bias. Cheers

  3. I can’t believe people pay good money to hear this kind of drivel in a classroom. Especially when you can get all of this “wisdom” for free at any one of the many looney left wing blogs.

  4. I find it highly ironic that the professor himself is an “OLD WHITE GUY”…
I wonder if he looks in the mirror in the morning, when he trots out this drivel in class.
Obviously, the man is a closet Republican…
Seriously, the man would have to erect a monument to get any more hypocritical.

And it worked!   Millions of registered Repubs sat on their @sses and stayed at home for the 2012 election thus allowing another 4 for the zero.
    .

  6. Oh yes – don’t take the courses, don’t follow the programs. Most senior university administrators are whores who are completely driven by money.
Penn State is an excellent example (how agreeable it is to have the opportunity to call Graham Spanier a whore); also, an excellent example of the power of students, parents, alumni and the general public when they have had enough.
In some ways this all reflects a failure of the grade and high schools. A sound high school education (and I am not describing a unicorn farm) will develop considerable dreck-resistance in a young person. However, most parts of the US have not had good high school education since the `50s and probably not since before WWII.

  7. Surely you meant “allowed” rather than “verboten”.
(Must now brace myself for scrutiny of my own comments. Spell-checker will be mandatory!)

  8. Assume he’s been thrown out on his ass, epaulets torn off, sword broken, yellow stripe painted down his back.

  9. Not a chance. Not in today’s environment. The only reason we are seeing so much of this crap today is they are not hiding and are coming right out into the open with their Marxist claptrap.

  10. “…who he characterized as old, white, racist, and “losers.””
USC? No way he said that. He called them “Lewwwsers!” man. Fer shur.”

  11. What an idiot. If you want to destroy the republican party you tell them when they lose an election that they lost because they didn’t adopt democrat policies. Rinse and repeat.

  12. We need more secret tapes of teachers spewing their hate speech in class.
But if you want to make some real money,
have someone walk up to him/her,
    scream you ‘Democrat Slut.’
Bitch slap the shit out of him/her,
put it on you-tube and rack up the hits.

  13. Advocating or conspiracy to commit election fraud? You’d almost think that that would be a crime.

I doubt this “professor” knows how to do an erection, and if he did, it certainly wouldn’t be a monument.

  15. “I can’t believe people pay good money to hear this kind of drivel in a classroom” – I can’t either. My experience, in studying and teaching physics and with experience of four universities on two continents over fifty-two years (and, yes, as an undergraduate I did well in my Arts courses and actually finished first or second in a large first-year English course), is, that if I attempt to warn parents about dreck courses and dreck programs I not only am not listened to but arouse considerable hostility.
Remember, by the way, that while school attendance is mandatory in most jurisdictions, and curricula are usually set by a government bureaucracy, it is not mandatory to attend university. It is not mandatory to attend a given university. For a student attending university, it is not necessary to take useless or intellectually harmful programs (e.g. Women’s Studies). Finally, even when a student is signed on to a program, he (or she or it) can usually avoid a disagreeable or bad lecturer.

  16. This capcha thing is beyond annoying….
Now it is neccessary to post at least twice….save the text on clipboard….

“Advocating or conspiracy to commit election fraud? You’d almost think that that would be a crime.”
    Actually it is.
But Iranians have more respect for democracy than Americans…there were no demonstartions/riots in the US after that farce of an election in November.

  17. Voter suppression is a bad thing. This guys is a goof. Call me when you guys actually give a rat’s @ss about Republicans having institutionalized it.

  18. We caught some of the video on TV. My mom (not a college grad) looked at me and said, “Gee, he sure seems like an old, white and angry guy. He must be a Republican!”
Voter suppression is a bad thing. This guys is a goof. Call me when you guys actually give a rat’s @ss about Republicans having institutionalized it.
“Institutionalized it”…you mean from the party that championed civil rights and liberties while the Democrats filibustered? History and facts: they are cruel realities for liberals.

  19. Obama force-integrated Marin county because it was “too White”, and all the “anti-racists” cheered.
If Obama force integrated Detroit because it “too Black” or Texas because it was “too Mexican”, do you think the “anti-racists” would cheer??
No, they ONLY cheer when White people are subject to a program genocide.
But of course we all know that, and we all know anti-racist is a codeword for anti-White.

  20. Naomi Klein wrote the forward for the required undergrad “history textbook” on my coffee table. This is university.

  21. The whole academic elites, including all schools need to be purged of these no name, no brand Marxists. Like Reagan did the Air traffic controllers.
Fire the dross retain whats left of the pure alloy.
Its time to gt rid of deadwood Marxists, socialist alarmists. Perverts who lust for our children along with Predatory “Inclusionism’s”, GLBT bullying, anti free speech thugs. Those who’s mission it is to destroy this Nation .
Fire them all. Particularly the phony sciences.

  22. Get rid of the latte sipping , lard assed leftie looners that have been populating universities for years and replace them with people who might actually students the skills to make it in the real world

  23. In the 1930s and 1940s many people had only a Grade Eight education but managed real life better than todays University Grads

  24. This will not happen as the people are sleeping and get a glazed look in their eyes when you bring it up. I guess all of this will have to take its course, including the accompanying pain.
