It is not just, to maintain them as a festering sore, that the losers of the 1948 War kept them in virtual concentration camps, refusing to assimilate them….but because they are perhaps unassimilatable….

Whatcha don’t understand is that for many US jews are secular jews and that leftiesm/prograssivism/socialism is their religion/faith.
Pres. Obama is going to visit Israel but refuses to address the Israeli Knesset.
Instead, he wants to address some university youth.

After finishing his second term, I wouldn’t be surprised if he decides to run for President of Egypt under the Muslim Brotherhood banner.
If the west bank, east jerusalem are part of Israel then Israel should formally annnex the land but it has no choice but to give Israeli citizenship to all the people who live there. Otherwise the apartheid will be total (currently it is partial apartheid).
Then Israel will be a binational state and in 50 years the arabs will have outnumbered the jews. Then they will vote for a Palestinian to be PM of Israel.

Israel has always been at war with Amalek, and always will be. Amalek is not interested in dividing Israel, just as the French Canadians are not interested in dividing Canada.
