Short excerpt:
The whole thing here.
Dr. Carson at the National Prayer Breakfast undoubtedly fed Obumhole his proverbial lunch.
Tonite on Hannity he espoused more clearheaded thoughts.
Pity none of it will be seen other than on the Fox Network!
Does anyone know how Revnant Dream is doing? Is he feeling better?
Quote of the Century…………………..
“The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled,
public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled,
and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed, lest Rome will become bankrupt.”
People must again learn to work instead of living on public assistance.”
– Cicero , 55 BC
Evidently we’ve learned nothing in the past 2,067 years.
During WW2 people sent mail to “Bob Wills, Texas, USA”. It always arrived in Bob’s mailbox. Bet the USPS couldn’t do that now.
Argo has won the best picture award so there is no justice in this world.
Mostly a lie from beginning to end, and history will once again be rewritten in favour
of the Americans.
As Jimmy Carter said at Queen’s: Everything done by the CIA in the movie was done by the Canadians. Sorry for those in the Canadian Embassy who put themselves in danger to rescue the Americans and now will be forgotten in history, but it has always been thus.
This headline caught my eye. Thought it was Obama at the Whitehouse but nope, another Emperor.
“Nigerian president ‘spent $1million of aid money meant for poverty-stricken country on star-studded festival featuring Beyoncé and Jay-Z'”
There’s just something about Emperors that goes hand in hand with Beyonce and Jay-Z/
…the little rotter will take Dr. Carson’s ideas and spout them as his own, much like I’ve seen the Liebral party do over the years. I shouldn’t call him a little rotter, he’ll be hurt and flap his ears and take off to pout.
Last I heard he was out of the hospital, so that’s good.
Those Iranians are pure military genius’s. Quake in fear at the suicide drone. http://gulfnews.com/news/region/iran/iran-tests-suicide-drones-1.1150571

Back in the 70s I was in Tulsa, OK and visited a Western Wear Store owned by Johny Lee Wills, brother of Bob Wills, he took the band out on the road after Bob’s health failed. He was a very interesting person to talk with after he found that I had reallly enjoyed their music and where I was from, Cape Breton island. My world is full of great people, Keep up the good stuff.cb
Group wants the city of Saskatoon to erect windmills at the same time as others are waking up to the uselessness of this form of power as a replacement for conventional power. Although there is a niche market for wind where conventional power is not available.
Btw, until power lines were installed in the rural areas of Saskatchewan, the farm yard we live on had two wind generators, one by the barn and one by the house, and banks of batteries in each building.

““Forty-three million dollars is a lot of money, but you split it up by the number of investors that would be required. It would be between five and 20 thousand investors who would contribute around $2,000 each,” said James Glennie, founder of the Saskatoon Community Wind group.
The group believes that by selling power to the City of Saskatoon, the farm would be able to power 1,600 homes. By selling to the city, the group estimated that the wind farm will provide a return of roughly $2 million to shareholders through dividends and interest payments.”
Let’s do some math. Five thousand investors at $2000 each is ten million dollars; twenty thousand investors at $2000 each is forty million dollars, still shy of 43 million. At two thousand per head, they’d need another 1500 investors. Total: 21,500 investors. Each of whom probably has a home. And they want to “invest” in a wind project that will service 1600 homes? That works out to $26, 875 dollars per home served. Not to mention all the sordid little details like capacity factor, and backup reserves, and cost of land rent for the monsters.
Loved this globe and mail headline: Canadians want resources national, not provincial. Will leaders listen?. It’s just begging for a correction.
“But do Canadians as a whole buy into the notion that the economic benefits of natural resource wealth should flow solely to the provinces in which these resources are found?[the answer is no, if you hadn’t guessed]…the data also suggest Canadians do not view the question of natural-resource royalties as a winner-take-all contest, but something that in principle can benefit both their own province and others. It should be expected that provincial politicians will always focus on what’s best for their constituents, but we can hope they too will keep a broader national purpose in mind.

maz2 @ 7:14 p.m.: “Richard Moon, a constitutional legal scholar at the University of Windsor and an expert in hate speech, said it would be ‘an exceptional and extraordinary thing’ for the Supreme Court to overturn its own previous decision, though not impossible.”
Not quite. The Supreme Court overturns its precedents fairly frequently.
From the linked article: “Chief Justice Dickson’s definition of hatred has been further refined in federal human rights law with a checklist of ‘hallmarks of hate,’ including descriptions of target groups as a powerful menace, predators of the vulnerable, the cause of a current social problem, dangerous or violent by nature, devoid of any redeeming qualities, and requiring banishment, segregation or eradication to save society from harm.”
Like the Occupy movement did with the so-called 1%?
One problem with “hate speech” is that it is never applied to left-wingers, whose hatred of capitalism and businessmen is just as dangerous as the old hatreds of ethnic groups and minorities.
Rather than try to apply a difficult-to-define law more evenly, just get rid of it.
