  2. I’d long thought Skeet were on the endangered species list. Maybe I’m thinking of Snipe.
    If it’s true that he’s done him some skeet shooting, I’m guessing the only reasons White House photos aren’t available are
    1. they would annoy his base;
    2. his shooting style matches his baseball-pitching, football-throwing and bowling style.

    Better yet, pics of the bruises on Obama’s shoulder from actually firing a shotgun or it didn’t happen. After all, anyone can pose for a pic holding a gun and never actually fire a single round.
    Speaking of bruises, now I feel like taking my Mossberg 590 out and firing 40 or 50 magnum slugs out of it to assert my manhood in a way that most leftists will never know.

  8. Why do so many Americans refer to snipe hunting as a fictitious venture,as though the bird doesn’t exist?
    There are over twenty species of snipe,one we used to hunt as kids in Manitoba was the Wilson’s snipe, which was included on the list of game birds on your duck/goose hunting licence. It’s a good tasting bird,but too small to bother with when there are mallards around.
    Obama is “just folks”, he probably pitched hay bales,shot coyotes,and played all the great American sports in pickup games with the kids in his humble neighbourhood.Was that a young Obama who we used to see walkin’ to the fishin’ hole with Andy Griffith?

    It’s common leftist assumption that gun owners have inadequate manhood which must be compensated for by shooting firearms. Since I’ve never had reason to question my manhood, I’ve always dismissed this as typical leftist twaddle, however the author’s comment makes one wonder if perhaps the leftists have some basis for their belief.
    I’m certainly not a leftist, and I’ve fired thousands of rounds of various calibers from my firearms, but never thought it was ‘asserting my manhood’. Perhaps the author of the comment can explain how that works.

  16. Well, for one, firing so many rounds of 12 gauge magnum slug will cause bruising and redness. Something that Obama will never know. He leaves the handling of firearms, and his own protection, to others. Just like all leftists. And because a lot of lefties are afraid of firearms and would rather leave their own protection to others I don’t consider them men.

    That’s your opinion, however firearm use does not make someone a man, nor does it ‘assert’ their ‘manhood’. My girlfriend is deadly accurate with a variety of firearms, and she’s not the last bit ‘manly’, in fact quite the opposite. Girls with guns are sexy.

    I think the word we’re all searching for is COWARDICE, and it has nothing to do with guns or gender. Someone who is not a coward prepares to fight their own battles, if their smart they use the best available weapons at their disposal. That pisses the cowards off.

  28. Heh. I agree with several of the above commenters. I don’t think that skinny, phoney little narcissist has ever fired a shotgun in his life. I recall that every couple of years, when I was still on the job, that we not only had to qualify with the handun and rifle, which was annual, but also with the 12 guage as well. Fifty rounds…damn that hurt….I had a bruise on my shoulder for about two weeks afterwards.
    But the 12 guage was great in a high risk takedowns. We used folding stock weapons, and nothing quite sounds like the “snick snick” of a round being chambered, it immediately becomes the loudest sound in the room…it makes the sphincter of even the baddest guy contract to nothingness.
    But it is funny that one of the above comments mentioned the sight bead scar. After the annual shoot, you could always recognize the rookies…most of them had a half circle cut above their eyebrow because of leaning too far into the scope of the rifle.

    One clue as to why it might be painful for you; If you’re getting a sight bead scar from the front of the barrel, you’re doing it wrong.

    I was 11 years old when I first pulled the trigger on a 12 gauge under the guidance of my older cousins. The stock is a little long when you are 11, and the polyester shirt I was wearing did me no favors. Pulled the trigger, the stock went straight to the ground, my hand still on the barrel the gun became a baton and rotated, pow right in the kisser and everyone laughed. Rite of passage, one of the big boys then.

  31. You might want to check the New York State participation level with the new registration law, Ahh!!!. Methinks it is not quite as high as their Masters expected. Now we shall see what their “Law Enforcement” shall do. As far as I can tell, up to this point all the Blue Wall has done is complain because THEY were “legally” screwed to the same level as Mere Citizens. Their Masters, of course, will promptly remedy that. But what will the Blue Wall do about Mere Citizens who refuse to comply with the clearly unconstitutional new law? Will they do their usual jackboot thug thing? And if they do, do they truly understand that every member of their Blue Wall, and every one of their families, will be a fair target, anywhere, anytime, anyhow? Big Crapple inhabitants regularly disparage redneck hicks. I think they – and their Blue Wall – might be surprised to find out how many such redneck hicks live only a few miles from their domiciles…

  35. It doesn’t give me one scintilla of pleasure, in fact I’m horrified. But America as a Republic or even a democracy is over. Obama will have a third tern , than a fourth. If not more. Hes working diligently at it for the next 4 years.
    After all is their one right he hasn’t abrogated, between him along with the Bush’s these Presidents of change haven’t broken?
    With the economy in a dive while the public gets no real news,that is presently shut out from any reality. Its almost over for this great Republic that has done so much good in an evil World. Not to say they haven’t blundered or done some themselves.. But by all history’s reckoning. It was the gentile Empire of human Individual dignity at one time. Not one mans golf course.
    Its sad to see its fall, brought by the users of any Nation against its producers.
    Its like Obama has implimented Atlas Shrugged from the users point of view. Including high speed trains. The Muslim Prince has stolen liberty.
