  6. Is it just me or does Chief Spence’s remark resemble the type of inanity black thugs in school tell black kids who are achieving academically? “You’re bowing to the white man by doing well in school.”
    As a Canadian Ranger instructor up in Canada’s Far North some 20yrs ago, I came to the conclusion that the Inuit were far superior with respect to intellect and generally having their sh!t together. I came across dry towns up there, because the Inuit elders decided that having alcohol was a bad thing for their community…every Indian I saw on the other hand was either drunk, on their way to becoming drunk or in the hospital because of injuries sustained while (wait for it) they were drunk. I’ve also watched in awe as Inuit hunters tore down a two stroke snowmobile engine that had stopped working in the middle of the tundra at -45ºC with the barest of tools and get it working within 15 minutes. The Indians I saw around Yellowknife, were usually passed out on the sidewalk as I walked to work in the morning or scrounging behind the Explorer Hotel looking for discarded alcoholic beverage bottles with some still left in it or partially emptied lysol cans.. I guess to survive in Canada’s Arctic you need brains.

Or the old leftie stand by, “my twitter account was hacked” that worked for a few hours for the great Anthony the video of my Weiner and a wide array of other Hollywood idiots, try that one Chief Sitting Duck.

  18. I just saw Spence on Sun and she looks about the same as she did when she started. Maybe a tad less around the cheeks but a far shot more plump than any other hunger striker I have seen. Heck, I lost 65lbs last year and found it fairly easy and it changed me drastically. She doesn’t even look like she has been dieting much. No wonder the only response they have is; “ya but, no but, racist!” Can’t wait for Ezra in 15 minutes!

    Oh, were but that true. I’m a true blue Conservative, to the point that I was formerly a board member for my MP’s EDA. That’s why I was discouraged, disappointed and even dismayed when I found that Senator Brazeau’s personal integrity was no better than anybody else – including Conservative Senator Mike Duffy.
    Both of these guys are taking advantage of somewhat loose interpretations of House rules to pad their own already generously stuffed pockets at taxpayer expense.
    Both are taking the Ottawa housing allowance when neither of them are really legitimate in doing so. Sure, they’re behaving legally, but neither of them is behaving morally, and as Conservatives I find that reprehensible.

  25. Since there is a long wait at hospital Emergency, and since it is clear that Chief Spence was not an emergency in need of immediate treatment, did she wait the usual 4-6 hours in emergency – enquiring minds would like to know.
    Or did she jump the queue and receive preferential treatment and were other patients discriminated against?

    I rather suspect to a very nice hotel suite where someone else ordered room service … from which she nibbled around the edges … right through to the other side of the plate.
    This is one of the worst and most shoddy public stunts I’ve ever seen. Except for the idiots in the MSM, with their animus towards PM Harper, this caper wouldn’t have had a “news” life of even a few hours.

    Even in ignominious defeat, Spense STILL tries to milk sympathy and avoid the inevitable consequences of her fraud. The whole farce to bring the “terrible white government” to its knees ended up exposing how corrupt and fractured the Indian leadership is. I’m glad that there are aboriginals who DON’T tow the band line and speak out.

  28. No Guff – by your logic, the political field should be left to the other side, because no politician is a saint. Are you really in favor of letting the Spence’s have their way?
    Is it a greater sin to beat a political enemy who deserves to be hounded from politics, or to leave the scoundrel be because your side’s champion is found by you to be ethically lacking? Isn’t Spence’s presence in politics a greater evil than Brazeau’s?

  32. I would just like to take the time to offer my appreciation of INM and Chief “Big”got for bringing the corruption amongst the native populations to the forefront. The Indian Act has always been a thorn in the side for “all” Canadians, and I for one am glad that all those involved in the protests were willing to sacrifice their dignity. Thank you so much.
    As a former wrestler I have no doubt The Braz would have won a grappling match.

Yet the untold millions in missing tax dollars on many reserves by shyster, gangster Indian politicians is given a pass. The RCMP should be examining offshore accounts and follwing every lead. Those who have stolen from Mr and Mrs Prairie Chicken on the reserves as wll as the Canadian taxpayers should rot in jail. Time to end the 1st Nation fantasy as well.

    Chief Spend’s a piece of work and Bob Rae, Justin Trudeau, Carolyn Bennett, Hedy Fry, et al. are total sellouts when they say they’re part of her “struggle.” What struggle? Her only struggle is to see her feet past her four chins and to hide the million$ of taxpayer dollars she’s squandered and padded her own nest with while her people live in squalor.
    When I heard her spokesperson on the radio yesterday, berating the federal government for the Third-world conditions under which Native people live, I was incensed. I used Teepee Teri’s word for Senator Patrick Brazeau and yelled at the radio, “Why are your people living in squalor?” Then answered my own question: “BECAUSE INDIANS LIKE YOU AND YOUR ‘CHIEF’ CARE NOTHING FOR YOUR PEOPLE AND HAVE SKIMMED OFF ALL OF THE FAT LEAVING ONLY SCRAPS FOR THE REST OF YOUR BAND.”
    The political chicanery of the Liberals, NDP, and the Green Party (sic) is despicable. This stunt by Spence, supported by idiots in the Opposition, is theatre designed to discredit the only reasonable government Canada’s had in over 50 years. For the sake of every Native person in Canada, the majority which are being screwed by their own out-of-control “Chiefs,” the Indian Act needs to be overhauled, including audits of band monies. Because of Chief Spend’s desperate antic, we now know just how badly forensic audits are needed.

As for Spence and her theatre of disgust, I truly hope that this person is charged/convicted of grand theft and put in jail where we can all support her in a “hunger strike”… it’ll save us taxpayers some $$ while she’s at it.
