Obama on Mount Rushmore…… I can see it happening and before the end of this term. It would make a great stimulus project, wouldn’t it? Maybe as a replacement for the XL pipeline project.

He’s pathologically narcissist; that’s not simple egoism; that’s a psychological state where the individual is totally disconnected from reality. He lives in a world authored completely by himself. In his words. That’s where he feels in control. Anything that he can’t control quite literally doesn’t exist. That includes foreign affairs, people in Staten Island, and oh, yes, Congress.
And he’s going to get worse now that there are no controls over the expansion of his control. There’s no election looming. But don’t think that this means that Obama will sit at his desk and work. Heh. No, he’s unable to do this.
He’ll campaign; this need for constant adulatory feedback is basic to him and it will get worse as he nears the end of his term and will lose the extent of his control over people. He can’t reduce His World to just those around him.
So what will he do to prevent this narrowing of his world of control? I wonder. I think he’ll try to destroy the GOP; they went against him and he doesn’t accept this. Just as he had His Gang bully and name-call the Tea Party. He’s malicious and vindictive and if you confront and dissent from him, he’ll try to destroy you.
So, I predict his need to control and destroy will increase over the next few years. The way to reduce this need will be to increase the adulation. So, there’ll be talk of Mt Rushmore and other adulatory ceremonies.

And I think this is what will happen over the next few years. As he is ending his term of Power, his need to control will increase proportionally. So, he’ll need more adulation (Mt. Rushmore) and he’ll need to carry out more acts of destruction of others.
Maybe I’m paranoid but his contempt for Congress is already well known; he’ll refuse bills passed by Congress just to show His Power.
He’ll work to destroy the GOP; all blame for all problems will be focused on the GOP. [Nothing new there but this will increase in intensity.]
What still puzzles me is that people continue to treat Obama as if he were sane. As if he were a logical, reasonable person. That includes not merely the media and the electorate. But Congress as well.
They make every excuse for him. He just happens to be aloof because, ah, because he’s an intellectual and ever so brainy. He just happens to seem indifferent because he’s, ah, endured so much racism in his sad life. He’s never at his desk and always out playing golf or campaigning because, ah, he works so hard and ah, he needs to connect with people. And so on.
Obama is none of this. He’s not a normal or a rational or a functional person. He’s pathological. He operates according to deep psychological needs and these are not normal but abnormal.
Such a person should not be in a position of any power or control of others because he is unable to have constructive equal relationships. He must feel in control and he must have you, the Other, either dependent on Him or utterly powerless.
My concern is that this linked need to both control and destroy will increase this term. How is he going to meet these two needs?

Doug, I don’t think that Obama is a communist. Or a socialist. Or a Marxist.
He IS embedded, politically within this set of politically ideologies. That’s because they, politically, set up an Authoritarian Set of Rulers over the Ruled.
Obama is a narcissist. He must Rule. He doesn’t accept any ideology, for that would mean that the ideas in that ideology are ‘above him’; they are ideas that he must follow, that he accepts as ‘the best way to live’.
Obama doesn’t accept anyone or any idea or anything ‘higher’ than him. That would suggest that the idealogy is in control. But Obama, who is pathological, cannot have anyone or any idea over which HE is not in full control.
When Obama decided to move into politics, ie, rather than being merely a lecturer who is told what to teach, or a local community organizer, he naturally would move into the political party most amenable to a governing structure of Government Rules over the people. But he Himself is above and beyond any ideology; he doesn’t follow an ideology. He Rules all beliefs and believers. If you don’t follow Him, then, you don’t exist.

I’d say that ALL the policies and programs that Obama runs on certainly haven’t initiated from him. They come from his Gang, Valerie Jarrett, his wife Michelle, Holder, Reid, Pelosi. These people set up the political infrastructure within which Obama Rules. They are,themselves, socialists and anti-capitalist and anti-American.
Obama himself is not an intellect, he doesn’t deal in ideas, or political ideologies or policies, or programs. After all, that would mean that those ideas are ‘more’ than him; that they ‘rule’ over Him. No way. Obama exists only for and only as: Himself.
His only skill, and it is indeed a skill that he’s developed since he moved into this pathology as a young boy, is: emotional manipulation. He manipulates by ‘love and fear’. Notice how, now, he’s threatening that if you don’t give Him what he wants, more taxes, then, ‘there’ll be no Christmas’.
Remember how he got the First Stimulus; threats of economic collapse unless it was passed immediately.
Obama has no connection to reality. It doesn’t exist as Other to Him. He can’t handle an Other that he can’t control.
He has therefore, no ability to differentiate between truth and falsehood since His Words are unconnected to reality. His words function only to manipulate you. So, we consider him a pathological liar. But he’s not really lying since he’s unconnected to reality. His words have one agenda. Not to represent reality. But to manipulate you.
So, he’ll say one thing to one audience and two hours later, tell another audience a contrary thing. When we object, we are told that it’s our problem – due to our ignorance, our bias, our misunderstanding and, of course, our racism.
Eventually, we tire of the confrontation and leave, as we tire of finding out the truth beyond the many WhiteHouse lies about Benghazi. watch, he’ll nominate Rice in as SoS and will probably succeed. Just because we dared to confront her, and she was loyal to Obama, and so, he rewards her.

Re the discussion of Obama’s character and twisted psyche: one should make reference to the twisted psyche of Joseph Stalin. Stalin certainly didn’t run the Soviet Union alone. There is no reason for Obama to link himself to Rosa Parks. Her action was about racial equality. Obama uses race as a means of manipulation to prevent equality. That is, he has moved up in life, not due to merit or achievements, but via, as he admits, affirmative action, and also, a constant use of race to reject criticism, dissent, opposition. Rosa Parks would, I think, be ashamed of such manipulation.
