  1. Perhaps my wording earlier was poor. By ‘moral crime’, I mean something that is a violation of others’ rights. That is distinguished from something that is illegal and not a violation of others’ rights (such laws are unjust but that’s another thing). Paedophilia in action is the former while paedophilia the thought is the latter (not sure if illegal?). With that dealt with, Phantom seems engaged in splitting the hair so that he can salvage something from this.
    Personally I’m not much for the physiological explanations for complex behaviours. Too convenient.
    Or it just doesn’t indulge your sentiments. I’m gonna go with that.

    Yeah, but you overcome the dyslexia. Its there, but you read and write functionally despite it. Fluently, I would say.
    I’ve worked with a lot of head injury patients. They overcome all manner of things all the time, and in so doing literally change the shape of their brain. Its not -easy- by a long shot, but yet they often do it.
    Not everybody has a rosy outcome of course, but just by fighting the problem they can get back function and change their brain physically. New connections, areas re-tasked to do new jobs, all kinds of things.
    So if a stroke victim can beat having no perception of one whole side of their body and learn to walk again, even though half their brain got killed by ischemia, that’s why I don’t believe these complex emergent behaviors are permanently hard wired. The wiring can change, and does change. Hell, I’ve been instrumental in -making- it change. I designed treatment regimens to change it. And it worked.
    Lifetime pedophile, that ain’t all wiring. Not buying that one.

    The plasticity of the brain argues against a purely neurological basis for complex behaviors such as sexual preference. Because, obviously, the neurology is not fixed. It changes.
    So if its CHANGING, it can’t be the -cause- of the preference. Otherwise preference would change too. Duh.
    If certain neurological structures -cause- sexual preference, why does preference survive serious brain damage? Duh squared.
    Ask ET, she knows this stuff. Or you could go read for a change instead of shooting your mouth off like a dumb punk.

    I’ve worked with a lot of convicts. They ALL had the same opinion of pedophiles. (“Kill ’em”)
    Perhaps our Correctional Services are not working diligently enough to make these hardened criminals understand the poor fellows who are driven to molest and/or murder children. Sensitivity training is what they need.

  7. Thoughts are not a crime but LAS like all other deviants are publicly active trying to normalize those thoughts in the public’s mind.
    People like LAS want you to believe that paedophilia is an acceptable societal norm, when all civilized people inherently know that it’s wrong.
    Why else does he defend it?
    The same reasons LAS defends Islamic terrorism, open borders, and legalizing drugs, to destabilize and destroy western society as any deviant would.

I AM wonderinf when pedophilia switches to homosexuality? at what age is it no longer pedophilia and it is just regular good ol homosexuality …if the guy is 18 and the one with the penis in his mouth is 16 is that still pedophilia? or is that just gay ? or what if the woman is 30 and the kid is 15 ?

And then there is Big Birds buddy Elmo’s voice. But Las says only the Roman Catholic church protects it Homosexual pedophiles. As for the left legalizing it we saw that start to happen here in Canada when Sven Robertson managed to have the age of consent lowered to 14.

  17. 40 years ago I knew someone who kept his pistol in a U of Alberta dorm. It was where he lived. Where else was he supposed to keep it? I also knew someone who had a 50 lb. box of dynamite in his room. He told me not to worry as the caps were in his car. I slept well. He was a farm boy going home on the weekend to blow things up. Back in the day, a legal land description got you all the explosives you wanted.

    I expect this discussion is finished but I have just been told about another grandfather in our small town (about 5,000)who molested all his granddaughters. This happened some years ago but what has shocked me is that is the second I’ve been told about in a week.
    What does one call a grandfather who molests his family members? If I’ve heard of two in a week in a small town, it must be more common than I would ever have thought.

    Yes, this kind of thing is common. Numbers I’ve seen indicate something on the order of one in twenty or more girls get molested before they reach 16. Usually by a relative or family “friend”. Its an ugly thing, and one of the most under-punished crimes there is.
    That’s why I always say girls should be issued a .38 snubbie and mandatory lessons at a young age. Fear of instant death can be a pretty wonderful way of deterring rapists.

    Yes, a gun would be the best thing, especially if the child is taught to aim it at his precious jewels.

  24. Pedophiles are able to exercise some control over their compulsion. They don’t blatantly molest children in public, since they would be liable to be beaten by other adults and criminally prosecuted. Clearly criminal sanction deters pedophilia. Thus criminal penalties for pedophilia can be justified for deterrence, in spite of the claim that pedophiles should not be punished for an uncontrollable orientation.

  25. NAMBA has been working to legalize adult/children sex for years. They don’t even try to hide it. These people are perverts of the highest degree and they are a real menace to our kids.
